Hello guys!
Nice to meet you!

About me: I'm a 18 year old MLT student who eventually hopes to go into organic chemistry.I've been interested in psychoactives since i was a kid but have never done any up until this point.I've been doing judo for a few years now,and before that i was active in tae kwon do.I'm a not too social sort and people kind of find me odd, but I try to be friendly:)

Why ayahuasca?

I think for a lot of reasons.I've always felt this connection to the earth I guess, and I think aya is just the next step in my journey to discover more about it.I also want to find out more about myself and lessen what i feel is our negative society's influence on me.I also been depressed quite often in my life and i hope aya can help me dig up some old issues of mine.

Why now?
I don't really know.I guess it just feels right.

what's my plan?
I going to be making tea out of the B. caapi and M. tenuiflora and at least for my first time am going to be going very light( maybe 10-20 grams caapi,1 gram M.)

so I guess that's all for now,

nice to meet you!

Hi jamesjudo,

Welcome. Great first post. Can't wait to read how it goes. B. caapi, being a natural MAOI has a powerful antidepressant effect.

Peace & Love,
Pandora

thank you!

I am excited about encountering aya for the first time and am very happy to have chosen B.cappi instead of rue from my first experience. In preparation for the experience I have been changing my diet and trying to follow a modified dieta with very low sugars, simple foods(I hunt in the fall so I am lucky to have access to wild game meat),very-very-low salt, and much less TV, outside influences etc. then usual. Although I think I could do even better in the future just these changes have already effected me as I feel weak and slightly out-of it.Also when i sleep I feel very strange upon awakening like I had a odd dream that i should remember but don't.I don't know if this stuff is just all in my head or what's happening.Anyway I hope to get my caapi tomorrow and start working with it tomorrow night. Then after a few meetings with aya maybe add admixture to the mix. What do you guys think?

Peace

Sounds like you've got things well laid out. The weakness and off feeling come from your body adjusting itself (homeostasis makes even good changes feel bad for a while). Remember to have fun with it!

Welcome james, it's great to have you here with us.
