Hello, everyone. A little about myself:
I am a chemistry major, soon to be a junior. I am an admirer of Alexander Shulgin a strong believer in responsible drug use for beneficial means, although I decided a while ago that I didn't want to deal with idiot drug dealers and all the negatives associated with them and would only consume substances extracted/created by me, personally (or by a professional company). I am fairly new to DMT but I do like to try new things and experiment (thus why I am a chemistry major). Aside from the obvious goal of extracting DMT, I hope to learn a lot from everyone here and gain some out-of-class chemistry knowledge and experience and intend to share what I can contribute with others. Glad to be here. :)

Welcome to the Nexus!

It's always great to have chemists here because the chemistry part is essential to develope knowledge in the Nexus. Im sure you'll be able to learn here from what has been done and talked about already, as well as contributing to explore untreaded waters and expand the knowledge horizon....

What is your psychedelic experience so far? Are you also interested in brewing ayahuasca?

What part of chemistry do you focus on, or are more knowledgeable about?

The only psychedelics I've experienced are lsd and psilocybin. I know it sounds cliche, but LSD really did change my life. I went from pretty much not caring about life with little interest in anything to sort of questioning reality and wanting to know everything about everything.

Right now I'm about to finish organic chemistry I and will be taking II over the summer, so I don't have too much chemistry experience (but I'm getting there:d). I'm still somewhat undecided, but as of now I actually intend to focus on physical chemistry in the future.

I've actually never even heard of ayahuasca, but... perhaps that is something I might consider looking into.
