HEllo!

I am r2d2 from Uk. I guess i've been lurking a bit on this forum for a while and have found the people to be really smart and mature. I guess I'm ready to call it home :=)

As far as my status is in the real world, I just graduated from college with a masters, and about to embark on my career from february. I guess this is a pivotal moment in my life, but somehow I have never been drawn by money or status or any of the standards society has set for us to achieve. Every since I was a child, I have been an enquirer, and would constantly trouble my parents with questions about life,etc. until they got fed up and just said "God created everything, now no more questions". Not surprisingly, I was not satisfied with it and in a way still continue searching. This search has led onto psychedelics, and I believe these chemicals are some sort of gateway to understanding ourselves and the outside world better.

SWIM has had quite a few ego-death/breakthrough experiences with salvia, spice and cannabis, but has never met many people who shared his interests in psychedelics(most of SWIM's friends tend to do the more "fun drugs" . I am quite grateful in finding this community where I can share a part of my life which I love but sadly cannot really share with in the real world. Glad to be here!

I think most of us were grateful in finding this place as well, specially if we had no friends with the same pull towards the psychedelic experience, its understanding and implications. It is a path that we start walking alone, but there's a wealth to share and it's beautiful to have people to share it with.

Make sure you check the FAQ and the Attitude bits, if you haven't done it yet, for a smooth entry and to get the most out of the community as soon as you wish.

And of course do share with us any of your experiences. You mention you have been acquainted with salvia and spice. What did them mean to you? What did each of them change?
