Hello Nexus,

I've found a lot of great information on this site. I look forward to talk to some of you.

I started meditating several years ago, and that has been tremendously positive in my life. I feel this could help me gain more insight on myself in relation to the world, humanity, and who knows what else. I'm on a clearer path to what I think I'm looking for in this life, but would like some help!

also hoping to meet and talk to others who have come to a similar point in their life.

Cheers

Welcome Chung!

You arrived at the Nexus through meditation? Or were you interested in DMT at all?

Either way you found THE best resource and community to join, this place is constantly changing, questioning, experimenting, researching, etc.

Would love to hear more about your life experiences, even if not related to psychedelics or ethereal realms.

May peace and wisdom guide you my friend. Again Welcome aboard the love boat that is the Nexus :)

"I'm on a clearer path to what I think I'm looking for in this life, but would like some help!" <<<<This Statement kind of confused me?? Please elaborate

Hello Chung, and welcome here from another noob!

I'd like very much to hear about what methods you have found most helpful in attaining meditation, if you don't mind elucidating. If you find the time an opportunity, of course; and if you do, I'll be very grateful. Thanks in advance!

Hello Kronas and Red Cat, thank you for your messages.

I am in here because I searching for dmt. I would like to redirect my career/ life into something more fulfilling, that actually helps instead of perpetuating the negativity industry has on the world. I am afraid to make the jump and yes, meditation has helped but I feel that maybe dmt would help me see something more and align myself with a higher purpose. That is what lead me here.

I wasn’t sure how to meditate at first but I just found the impulse to look inward. I found a few meditation groups and healing centers to help me along the way including Sahaja yoga, and a few others here in New York. The method I find most helpful is honestly just meditation in the morning by myself. Its when you mind is the most receptive. If I am having difficulty clearing my mind, I listen to chanting. Groups are wonderful when you are struggling. I would be happy to go into more depth if you want.

To give you some background on myself, I am a 31 year old female. What lead me to meditation was of severe circumstances of my own devices. There was one particular traumatic event that made me realize that something was seriously not right and I started meditating.

With meditation my life started recovering from my poor lifestyle, my relationships with the people in my life started deepening. Eventually I started to want to actually be a better person, and it stopped being about me all the time.

Thanks for reading
Chung

HI again, Chung,

Thanks for the interesting and helpful reply, I certainly did not expect one so quickly, thank you very much!

I wish you success in your search here on the Nexus!

Hi Chung,

I am but a new member as well, but a browser for years. I think you're posts are incredibly insightful and likely have found the right forum too. I like that you meditate, and in varying styles. I like meditating too but have used the Cartesian method, which is not right or wrong just different. Your line, "redirect my career/ life into something more fulfilling" to me is a fairly serious thing that includes that awareness combined with theta meditation.

Some say some people can go further through meditation than psychedelics, but I think they're talkin Buddhist monks in Tibet. Meditation works for awareness and positioning while, at least for me personally, dimethyltryptamine provides 'enhancement' and 'clarification' of those things that come up during meditation. Hope that helps, and to say Hi :)

Ben

Hello Chung. Welcome to the nexus.
That is great that you started meditating. It cab be beneficial. Do you have any experience with psychedelics. If so how much?
