Shenzi
Rising Star
Hello everyone, just thought I'd give you an introduction.
I'm a student from the UK, I've only tried DMT a handful of times at sub-breakthrough doses, plus an ayahuasca experience recently which was rather disappointing!
My favourite psychedelic experience was with mushrooms, but I must say, I have mostly abandoned drug use, with the exception of alcohol and cigarettes. I'm interested in spiritual development but after numerous experiences am quite skeptical, perhaps even cynical about spiritual matters. All I know is that spirits do exist, but I don't feel at this point as if there is some kind of underlying order that is either good or beautiful. I'm trying not to get bogged down but my idealism is running thin. But my intuition tells me hyperspace is real, so this seems like the best place to find out about it.
The other day someone referred to me as 'the next Terence McKenna'
I don't know how true that is but I am deeply interested in science, philosophy, culture, as well as psychedelics of course, just like the man himself. I'd like to say I'm quite balanced on the whole, my ideas are definitely not as wacky as McKenna's.
My main hobbies relate to music, I write songs, play guitar and am a DJ to boot.
