Welcome to the Nexus.  Thank you for taking the time to write that well thought out and thorough essay. Though I'm skeptical about the whole concept of enlightenment and would say Nexians and other psychonauts suffer from the same human foibles and blindnesses as others, that regardless of the manifestations, most humans have more similarities than differences,etc.
