Help attaining pure LSA in crystaline format

I recently followed a TEK from erowid hoping to get some lsa crystals. I used aprx 500 HBWR seeds and soaked them 10 times in liquid ether. I then soaked the cyanogen free seeds in IPO twice and allowed to evaporated yielding a light brown oily substance with something that felt like a sticky salt all over it. It works amazing- the serving size (from my trials) is the size of 1 HBWR seed in the brown oil and I have maybe 40-50 servings.

However though I find this brown oily stuff to be undesirable, nasty, and just not what I was looking for as a researcher.

I think what I want is something like a pure crystaline (salt??) that I felt around the time I did the extraction. hmm.

I suspect that it is the seed oils and pigment that have made my lsa impure-- I want to have pure crystal alkaloid! Who doesn't? haha

I'm in the middle of a kasha s tek on the dmt nexus wiki... If your looking for a more refined product maybe a couple acetone washes is what your looking for since it is what pulls the lsa from the seeds. Post a picture of what you have now and then do a couple acetone washes so we can see a before and after

Why do you need to move the LSA to a separate solvent at all? Why not just filter the acetone, add an acid to turn the LSA into a salt like LSA tartrate (this should come out of solution because LSA tartrate isn't soluble in acetone (i think)), and pour off the acetone, then wash several times with acetone to remove any residual unwanted material that is soluble in acetone?
