Help with this pharma (caapi-mimosa) combo

Friends, need your help with preparing this brew.

I acquired 500ml of Banisteripsis Caapi (cielo) extrat 30:1
(30 kg of fresh caapi used to make 1 liter of liquid)

To make 1 solid dose: how many ml of the this caapi extract do I need?
And how many grams of mimosa powder needed?
(I usually cook the mimosa powder with some water for about 30 min)

A famous caapi extract vendor claimed for a minimum of 100 gr vine to start with for a maoi. But it was not specified living fresh or bone died wood. We can safely assume he referred to living fresh wood, and that all caapi extracts refer to fresh wood, not dried.

The weight ratio dried/living fresh is questionable but should range between 1/3 to 1/2.

If we want to play safe at the beginning and aim for that suggested intake of 100 gr fresh vine with a ratio of 30/1 then this comes down to 100gr/30 --> 3.33 ml.
If you want to go little higher than the bare minimum, then 4 ml should be a nice starting point, resembling 120 gr fresh caapi or 60 to 40 gr dreid caapi. Know that each ml represents 30 grams of fresh vine. It adds on quite steep with a powerful extract of 30/1 !

For mimo, very first steps, 3 grams well boiled is safe in general.

Jees, this caapi vendor says that "25ml extract contains approximately 400mg active alkaloids."
How many mg of active alkaloid is a good dose?


Also, how many grams of mimosa to use?

I start to not believe a word of that 30/1 ratio. Too high to be true IMO. So I drop all my calculations that refer to this ratio. Most sites go for 10/1 for their extracts and in earlier times 5/1.

What are the implications of the combination 30/1 and 25ml holding 0.4 gr actives?
That you need 750 grams of wood to get 0.4 gr actives, quite unbelievable to me. Or it must been very weak and/or poorly boiled.

Keep with 25 ml is 0.4 gr actives.
This site recommends 150 - 250 gr harmine for maoi, say half of 25 ml to start with.

I already stated 3 gr mimo for starters, did you not see it?

Would you combine these together for the most effective oral intake?

Or start with the caapi and 25 minutes later do the 3grams of mimosa?

It's possible you need to up with the actives, personally I go 500 - 600 mg caapi (extract-)alkaloids I make myself, but I dunno how active my caapi extract actually is compared to 100% pure harmine.

You can combine or take later, I have so specific advice, do 15 min later no prob.
If experience is too low, add caapi to your recipe first till you reach 25 ml, but not within 4 - 5 hours after the first, or not on same day, another session. Keep mimo steady til then.

The thing is, that vendor says 0.4 gr alkaloids / 25 ml. But we don't know if that is really 0.4 gr lab analysed pure 100% harmine (+THH) or just crude caapi extract. I think you will need the full 0.4 in the end, but I wanted to be careful.

The levels of the 3 alkaloids in caapi or it's extracts can be all over the place, as discussed in these 2 articles below. Trial and error start low and reading reviews of them from others may be helpful (if available) as there are dozens of different extracts out there. It's good that you are sticking with caapi as compared with rue only, as good caapi is quite amazing, truly a gift from the Heavens.
