Life got spicy about a year ago but I wanted to be right and respectful; it took time. About 3 weeks ago the time was right and swim and the most appropriate companions (2 others) ventured into another dimension. Well, they tried...
A glass blower is swim and a wonderfully artful glass pipe with chore boy filters seemed well made and appropriate for diffusion of heat and vaporization of spice. The first explorer with a 25m jetpack rocked with 1 toke to hyperspace. The second juggernaut, he whom I'm most familiar with, stepped into the launch zone with the same payload and had a wonderful introduction though the experience remained "in the room". Amazing colors, patterns, sense of well being and a message from elsewhere, "you don't have to explain everything!". Of course the immediate tendency to "process" the meaning of the message was humorously ironic. The third explorer suffered yet less by way of real impact with almost no alteration of state.
After reading the entire GVG thread here and being rather obsessive, the GVG order was placed. Preparations were made and chore boy diffuser installed within minutes of delivery. After a very deliberate effort to calm the excitement, approach with respect, engage in a mindful way, meditate on intention ... a 25m cone was melted into the new copper pad and the ceramic disc diffusing... an experience was had!
The mind did not remain "in the room" but a consciousness remained. Questions sung about, "what does loss of ego feel like?" and "where are the entities?" were present and clear yet the landscape was otherworldly. Non-describable. Like a video game of kaleidoscope patterns and vortexes melting together at light speed. Very cartoonish and beautiful but not the transcendent oneness with god that Terrance speaks of.
So, a couple of things. The GVG Works; get it! What SWIM thought might be life changing and a 1 or 3to4 lifetime use tool for spiritual exploration has turned into an amazingly interesting and intriguing dance enticing an interest at a frequency not previously contemplated. HMMMMM>......
