Very excited to be a part of this site :p i just started getting into dmt and extracting it, but ive had experience with other psychedelics.

Having a few problems with the extraction though, which is the main reason why i joined this site, so hopefully i can get some help form all the super knowledgable people here! :D

So since I'm totally new to this forum, and forums in general, please excuse me if i posted this in the wrong place...

But i wanna post some pics of my project, maybe some of you can shed some light on it? I'll give a brief explanation of what happened.

Did a STB extraction, but got some nasty emulsions that just WOULDN'T go away, plus colorants in the solvent so when i preciped it i got brown sandy product. So i dissolved all of my pulls in some heptane and sucked the solvent off the dirty stuff that sank to the bottom.

I then proceeded to acid wash it with 24% vinegar (yes strong i know...) but was left with some slimy, membrany looking stuff that settled in the heptane layer. it was completely white, so i thought it was just undissolved spice that couldn't get into the already saturated solvent. However when i froze it, it still looked like that. I¨m pretty sure its still got lye in it.

So then i just poured all of the solvent back into a jar and tried to wash it with some water to get any of the lye out, but that didn't really help. Now i have a mason jar of basic water with white stuff that is floating on the top (which i thought was lye). and in my solvent jar i have a bunch of white stuff at the bottom of the jar. I really have no idea what to do now...The top layer in the mason jar is non-polar i think, since i can see the layer a bit through all of the white stuff.
