I come from far lands as an organic Chemist and biohacker(attemping really) I have grown mushrooms for 3 years nos and pot since I was young also I hace synthesise lots of compounds and including challenging synthetic cannabinoids. I also like bum bum. However, I am starting right now to extract Magic from plants, since it was easier for me just to take the plant instead. But I have achived some good goals like a really Nice psilocibin extraction, a DMT inyectable quality A/B TEK... And maybe I could contribuye with some organic chemistry TEK'S!

So let's deal with the elephant in the room because immediately I'm curious.
What is your definition of 'bum bum'? The only one I know of is a booty. You threw chemist and bio-hacker in the first line, so the possibility that you are referring to growing a bigger booty in between growing mushrooms and extracting magic from plants, seems plausible.

I even looked up bum bum in the forum search and came up empty, although the old forum came back with results that did indeed refer to some sort of harmalas plug being put into one's bum.

I could be totally off the mark, but I couldn't let this question go un-asked.

This reminds me how my ovoid overdose ("ovoidose"?) happened! It was part of an attempt to precipitate the supposedly insoluble calcium salt of psilocybin - "calcium psilocyb(in)ate". It turns out the steamed juice of P. ovoideocystidiata contains large amounts of psilocin, and this is not precipitated by calcium hydroxide…

Perhaps I should have considered this before drinking all the juice…

The more complicated - not to mention more sensitive - alkaloid profile of mushrooms makes an extraction and isolation technique with the elegance and simplicity of CIELO, sadly, highly unlikely.
