thanks! i started out writting a really silly explaination of who i was and where im from but decided to scrap it in favor of short and simple.. i gotta say though, i was a little irked when i signed up a while ago and wasn't allowed to reply to a thread. buuuut, i kind of understand because.. well.. i actually think its elitist and keeps you guys from getting knowledge.. anyway, im happy to be here and im already having fun reading. im not really comfortable talking specifically about what ive done.. im sure itll come up in conversation but i don't like pissing contests D) and more simply heirchies.. anyway.. back to the boards!

If you can identify a cacti in a thread where you are unable to post in yet, just start a new thread in the nursery and post a link to the thread. Instead of getting frustrated, you could be helping people out and get promoted.

That "silly explanation" is there for everyone to get to know a little more about new members. You could even tell us about a fictional character that you made up:lol:

How coincidental! I was recently viewing the cacti ident thread with the same frustration as you! The only interesting one is the frosted blue, columnar one. Other columnar ones are pachycereus.
