My names callum, nice to meet you guys. My dad is a botanist so i'm quite good at IDing wattles (it's rather easy when you've got a program on your computer that does it for you) If anyone in Australia needs an ID done i can surely help! I'm finding it rather difficult to find any active species close to perth, the closest i've come is a strange subspecies of Baileyana found in Kalamunda. Smoking the leaves provides a surprisingly strong effect, but still only a bit above threshold. The alkaloid content is apparently very low, and DMT isn't listed as a component. I'm going to ignore this and find out for myself, so i'll let you guys know the results.

how you doing man? Welcome to the Nexus!

You seem like a good type of person to know. Could you ID spieces from other parts of the globe too? I live in the UK.
Peace!

The programs i've got only ID wattles and eucalyptus, though im not sure if they contain species world wide. Also i just stumbled upon some acuminata on my walk to the shop, from what i've read the alkaloids are around 1.5 % in the leaves. I'll report back with my findings :]

update - tried to freebase dmt from 500 grams of acuminata leaf, currently evaporating the shellite. a small amount of crystals are seen to be growing in the dish

update 2 - a subject ingested the material, his response
'so this is dmt?'
'I LOVE DMT!'
