Hello,
I have made but a few posts. I hope to be of some service to this wonderful community. My experiences with mind expansion began at seventeen with my friends vial of Acid. Since that time I have undergone great transformations and the plant teachers have imparted much wisdom. My allies of choice are grandfather Pedro along with of course

The spirit molecule which came into my life and changed everything. The path requires complete surrender and courage. Through this surrender I have realized the divinity and oneness of all and everything made possible through love. This board has been a source of inspiration and has kept me sane. I pray that bliss and wisdom continue to permeate this community always and forever. Thanks for taking the time to read this.:d

In your opinion is the knack to it simply to observe and accept?

Sunshine: SWIM has yet to try Spice himself but his understanding is that the trick is "not to give in to amazement," as Terrence McKenna would say. You're there first and foremost to learn (or rather unlearn) after all. Oh, and I love your avatar!

SunshineSmiles my knack is all about how I go into the experience with meditation and study I feel as if I am able to purify myself. Lighting incense chanting and creating a sacred space has also helped me tremendously. During the experience all I can do is observe,stay focused and smile. A shower afterwards always helps bring me back to earth. I am all about the power of the shower:lol:.

Psilo nice to meet you as well, I find that very true about amazement because often in the experience i can just as easily be unamazed or more precisely I am feeling contradictory things simultaneously. I am neither this nor that lol this is very hard to express.

PsilioCyborg: That is definitly great advice but McKenna makes it sound a lot easier than it is. IMO it is impossible to not give in to amazement on the first one. I know better and still end up doing it sometimes. And people always leave out the possibility of giving into fear and fighting it the whole time. That is very common too and leads to a less than full experience.
