Rising Star
Hi everyone!
As the subject mentions I´m curious to know how all of you came in contact with spice for the first time. Did you just stumble upon it etc?
My own experience started about six or seven years ago. I was a exchange student in the US and it was my first time living abroad, new experiences and new culture to explore. Before I moved to the US I had tried weed only a handfull of times. But found myself some friends who were more experienced with cannabis and other psychedelics. In my mind these other psychedelics were considered as hard drugs and something I would never touch in my live (man I was wrong). But they made me curious about the mind exploring properties different substance could have. My friends were really ambitious in school and did not live up to the mental picture I had of people who took these kind of "hard drugs" So I started doing my own research and found that most of my belief that I had been taught growing up was not true. This was the first time I stumbled across the mention of the spice and ayahuasca. I found it so intriguing, fascinating and really scary.
Anyways I did not particpate in any taking of other substances except cannabis (Had a feeling I wanted to try psychedelics when I got back to Sweden).
Fast forward to the next year I´m back in Sweden. I had brought the knowledge about the "hard drugs" back to my best friends, and made them change their minds or atleast be open to the idea. I did some future digging and found out that there was a mushroom that grew in the fall time here in sweden that contained psilocybe ( the liberty cap). Me and two of my nearest friend decided to go out and see if we could find them. ( We did and I might write a trip report of the first time that I had a psychedelic trip.)
In the years to come I participated in some mushroom trips here and there, and also had my first LSD trip. I have also tried microdosing on mushrooms and I really like the experience if there is no school or other responsibilities involved during that day. By the way working out or playing any sport during the microdose is really a treat.
So the year is 2019 and I have not been thinking of ayahuasca or the spice for a long while. and suddenly it starts to pop up everywhere and I mean everywhere. People that I meet that is going to retreats in Peru etc. It felt like it was everywhere I looked and I could not ignore it. So I started doing some old research and came across this lovely forum and felt welcomed. So after weeks of research in different teks and different solvents I decided to order all the ingredients necessary for a extraction.
Did my first extraction and everything went well. The fairy dust is obtained but it is taunting me and I feel the urge to have my first trip really soon. But life has been really hectic lately (not bad things, just been having a thight schedule with traveling and hanging out with some old forgotten friends etc.) I´m also really scared for the first experience ( I respect the spice and I am not sure if Im worthy yet to recive the secrets it holds.)
I know the right moment will come and I really look forward to it.
I Hope you all found it alittle bit interesting to get a insight in to my life and experiences with psychedelics. I would love to hear your history with psychedelics and how you came in contact with the spice.
Much Love
