How do people get giant DMT crystals?

SWIMS pet hamster has been using the nomans straight to base tek on some mimosa with good results but he keeps ending up with these little tiny white crystals hes seen some pics of giant Crystal clusters on various sites. SWIMS pet hamster wants to know how are other fictional people freeze precipitating these huge xtals?

Limited experience informs SWIM that:
1 the slower they grow, the larger they grow
2 significant fat/oil impurities impede large shard development somewhat
3 evapping yields gooier, less crystally product than freeze precip
