How to equidistribute sediment of caapi/viridis among servings?

APO-B100

Maybe because I try to reduce the brew to a manageable amount in order to be able to drink it and keep it in minimising the gagging reflex, there is not enough liquid to keep the psychoactive content dissolved and it precipitates in sediment in the form of lumps. This sediment appears to be concentrated and extremely potent psychoactive when compared with the rest of the brew. I find it difficult to distribute the sediment evenly among servings. Does anyone have an idea of how to achieve an even distribution? Thanks in advance!

I think you understood your issue completely.
Most people who have ever been brave enough to make a brew in their lives have possibly been through that.
How much to reduce?
Personally, I think there's a balance to be achieved, in the end, perhaps a larger cup would be preferrable.
In order to deal with the taste, there are many means - to cool the brew almost to freezing point, will numben the palate.
One can also take some ice cream beforehand (non milky ones pref), it works.

This method will reduce the horror of drinking 90%
-inhale deeply
-hold breath
-dump (pretty thick) ayahuasca in your mouth (while still holding the breath)
-swallow everything in 1 go (while still holding the breath)
-take a bit of water and flush your mouth (while still holding the breath)
-take a bit of toothpaste and flush it with a bit of water in your mouth (while still holding the breath)
-take some more water and flush your mouth really well (while still holding the breath)
-start inhaling and exhaling again.

And you're good to go.
Trust me, this really works.

Thanks, Harlequim and Notgoingback! When I first tried the brew in Peru, I thought it was not as horrible as people said. But I have developed an aversion to it and just getting it close to my mouth makes me feel sick. I will try to combine your two methods and keep a little bit more liquid.

Regular Ayahuasca always has some sediment in it. I say shake the bottle before pouring a drink, but some people, for some reason ¯\_(ツ)_/¯, don't like to shake the bottle.

Me and my bros usually store our Ayahuasca in 500ml bottles and our "host" is one of those guys that don't like shake the bottle.

So everytime we drink it gets more and more potent, to the point that we have to mix some of the old stuff with the new, because a few tablespoons of that ayahuasca sludge that settles at the bottom is enough to get you into the stratosphere.

But that is "regular" Ayahuasca, there's also the "honey" Ayahuasca. Ayahuasqueiros have a TEK when they reduce the brew so thick it ends up with a consistency close to molasses. I don't really know how they do it, but I heard is a very slow process were you evaporate most of the water without burning the natural sugars captured on the brew. The result it's a very uniform solution, there's no sediment in it. It's dark brown in color, and sweet (compared to regular ayahuasca), it's also very strong.
