Sorry if this has been asked before but what is the absolute bestway to tell when you'r spice is done evaping? And ready to be vaped ;)

NO! acetone is miscible with water, it will not separate. You have to use a non-polar solvent.

Once your DMT is dry you can dissolve it in acetone and evap it to make sure there's no solvent trapped in it.

So you'r saying if i dissolve spice into acetone and just let that evap it will make sure i have no solvent left in it correct? no extra steps?
 
That would be possible but then again, getting real clean acetone is a hard job, I think most of the acetone that is sold (the cheap atleast) has more impurities than the Naptha you used in the first way so I don't think it is a good idea to solve and evap again. You get rid of nanograms of impurities and probably add micrograms of other impurities.
