Hey there everyone!

So I guess my interest in this wonderful molecule was derived originally from the film "DMT: The Spirit Molecule" documentary on Netflicks. After trying some for the first time - which was actually an interesting experience since the person who SWIM got it from thought that 300mg was an appropriate dose - I fell in love with the stuff. SWIM recently acquired some MHRB and has already started his first extraction and it looking forward to see the out come of that.
As a current applicant to medical schools, this molecule is the perfect escape for so many different reasons: it provides for such a mind opening experience with little in the way of - negative - residual effects.

Alright, I've been lurking these forums for sometime now but I am hopping to make some contributions to them myself in the time to come.

Welcome to the Nexus and thank you for taking time to writ up an Introduction Essay.

I would strongly encourage you to read Dr. Strassman's book, "DMT: The Spirit Molecule." Not only is it partially the source book for the movie, it is about 1000x better. I am sure you, as a prospective med student would love it. It is fascinating, not just in the trip reports but also in what he and his team had to go through to be able to work with Schedule I material in a research setting.

300mg DMT is a terrible overdose. Most folks start in the 10-50 mgs range. I always recommend starting low and working your way up. See, you can vape 10 mgs and if you like that you can vape 10 or 20 more an the doses will stack - you will go deeper each time. Just vape the "more" before you fully baseline from the original hit(s). See, taking too little is easy to correct. But, taking to much and getting off correctly, can be an infinite ride into the deepest crevices and trenches of the mind. In my opinion, not much good can result, other than trauma and blacking out.

I'd recommend taking a good look at this site. In particular the sub-fora on smoking techniques. I'd also recommend you make changa.

I want to warn you that DMT is not a recreational drug. Those who take it for purely escapist or hedonistic or boredom reasons, eventually get their behinds kicked hard and deeply into next week/month/year. It is just a matter of time and a DMT bad trip is like no other. It is important to dose DMT with a strong intention of some sort. For me that has been learning and memory in the past, as well as insight and growth.

But, I must stress, all of this is just one woman's personal opinions.
