whassup gangsta's!
how is everyone? i've been on the up and up.
recently i've been working on an essay for school on drug freedom. the ultimatum of my paper will point at ending the drug war. basically i came to this conclusion on a personal note, one in which i won't be including in my paper. i've seen first hand why our government should protect us instead of prosecuting, 'treating', and fining us. the war on drugs is pointless because drugs turn up just the same. so my idea is that we protect the users from criminals, drug lords, and shady people. ultimately making the drug "problem" work for everyone and be all legit-like.
i know that ridding the drug war won't stop shady people. but this way we may prosecute them legally.
some people say "o grand idea! make drugs legal and we can all be high all the time!" well no, probably not. you don't have to make those choices if you don't want to.
who wouldn't want to do something good for themselves? and who's to define "good"?
good things happen to,
well,
people who look for good things.
good things are,
perhaps,
different for everyone.
i propose government needs to be there to regulate business. i learned about the early industrial period with monopoly's and all that. well and drugs are getting to be really expensive and cartels are a huge business. how come the government hasn't regulated these trades? i would hate to say they get their own high from their game, because i know cops are good people too.
