Ya, Way too much IPA. I usually add dropwise and stir until the spice is solved into it. Then add mullein, the consistency of that flower(?) is perfect, it's very fluffy and soaks the spice up well. Just make sure to remove the woody stem material from it, as that absorbs spice at a different rate as well as burns a little funky. An added plus to the mullein is that it actually seems to open up the lungs and has absolutely no harshness, especially if you smoke other things, so one can hold a hit in for a long time. I've had massive breakthroughs on one hit of enhanced mullein.
Never worked with passiflora, so no input there.
Choco's method of heating the spice on a plate should work real well, I don't know the solubility factors, but IPA holds DMT well, you don't need much to solve a gram of spice. It just takes a little time and needs agitation. If you add it little by little as you agitate your vessel or stir it with a metal or glass rod or such it will slowly dissolve in a small amount, you just have to be a little patient with it. Keep experimenting, E.L. is the way to go IMO. It negates a need for re-xing in my mind, as long as the spice pulled is nice and clean of soup and can all be put into leaf, making it easily portable, easily smoalkable and just all around mighty swell!
