LOL!!  What??  Your hippie father made you promise not to take psychedelics until AFTER college?  And of course you agreed.... but I wonder if he actually expected you to keep that promise, or why he would even say such a thing.

Reading on........ oh I see...... oh shit!!!  Maybe he was right to tell you to wait. lol.  Nah just kidding.  But it does seem you two are both the type to drop everything in favor of drugs.  Maybe your dad would have been better off telling you to promise to be responsible taking the drugs, that you can take them, but you have to promise to finish college at all.  Anyway, it is what it is....

So it seems you had a "cosmic diamond cat" experience (referring to an old experimentation case in which a person realized their true nature, and it seemed like worse than hell).  But, what seems like hell now just becomes yesterday's experience..... if you don't let it get to you.  You could spend your whole life perplexed and terrified by that experience, but most people move on and start seeing the positive of it.  It seemed scary to you because you are not used to it, that's all.  If you can eventually accept what you saw, it won't seem quite so scary.  In fact, it will be as magnificent as you know it can be.

And of course, you're not the only first timer who has said, "I'll never take it again".  It seems like a lot of people say that at first, but then they get the balls to face that fear again, and come to terms with what they saw.  I have been where you are.  An outside reader would probably read reports like this and think dmt is the worst drug ever.  But if you look in to it, if you research followups, it seems that most people are greatful to have had these experiences.  I sure am.
