I gave DMT to 3 friends and they never returned

So I extract my own using MHRB and its quite powerful stuff.

I gave some Dimitri to 3 different people, 1 of which is my brother, on all different occasions. I weighed out about 15mg for each of them and I use a glass "meth" pipe to smoke, which IMO is the best when it comes to getting the full ride and effects. Anyways, each one at their time took one big hit and held it in, sat back and closed there eyes. Now mind you, these are all on different days... each one you can visually see them breaking down mentally as they sat there and almost cringed and doing slight grunting sounds, because they are obviously no longer in control of their body. About 3min later for each person they come out of it and within 15min they are back to normal. They all said it was they craziest thing they ever went thru and definitely the strongest molecule they have ever ingested, hands down. Now that i had them all try it once, I ask them to come back to smoke more with me, because i never do it alone, usulally only with someone, and to this day, they have yet to return. Its like they got scared shitless even tho they said they liked it. This has to be a common isue with people i am assuming. Its hard for me to get anybody to want to try this molecule, yet alone having me tell people I have it.

Anyone else experience this?

What kind of integration did they have? Did they look back at the mistery of the experience or try to forget/ignore it? Did they open up more to nature, new phylosphies and ways of thinking, or are they trying to fall again in the same old thought patterns?

This is indeed very common. In fact, it's the rule as opposed to the exception.

DMT is intense stuff, it's a rare breed that will expose themselves to this experience over and over again. Give it some months, maybe even years, occasionally one of your initiates will pop back up and say "I'm ready to go again" usually not, once in a lifetime is enough for many people.

Let them know you are available if they want to talk about their experience. Help them understand and integrate their experiences. Share some of your own. This is the responsibility that comes with passing the pipe.

We can get a bit evangelical, especially in the early days of our exploration, and think everyone we know needs to try this, but many people simply aren't really ready at this point in time, or aren't all that interested to begin with. I came to the conclusion that it's better to wait for people to bring it up to me, and that there is enough information out there now that those who are truly interested can find their way to it of their own accord.

P.S. - If you think the meth toob is the best bet, just you wait till you meet a glass vapor genie.

I agree with dreamer. I had a slightly opposite experience. From the beginning, I went into DMT "alone," so I was most comfortable being alone. However, I had a few friends who insisted on vaping along with me. So i stepped out of my comfort zone.

From the other side, they had to be patient with me; because it is something that I have a lot of respect for, and I often wanted to be sure the friend was respectful. In time, I learned that it all works itself out.

I will only take DMT alone. Tried it with others and didn't like it. My experiences when I am alone are much more profound and powerful. I feel like I key in on other people's energy and it throws me off in a way. Perhaps these friends would prefer a solo trip?

Most are not ready. Its just like beautiful plants and trees that everyone walks past by and pays no attention to...its how one interprets the message. If people lack knowledge to see the awe and wonder of the dmt trip its because they dont see it for the miracle that it is, just like they dont look at trees for the miracle that they are or ponder about the stars and planets and galaxies, or listen to Bach and see it for the miracle that it is, or bother to read Shakespeare or Poe. Its all about priorities. What is the purpose of life? Most have not discovered this for themselves.

It's not an issue. You can't expect people to want to use DMT over and over, it is far too heavy duty to be smashing yourself like that on the regular unless you really desire it.

I would argue that regular use of DMT is actually the issue, not the other way round. Maintaining a singular state of mind is important if you want to really focus your productivity in the various aspects of your life.

I have introduced 3 people to DMT. All three took one hit and have not asked for another. Reasons given? The suddenness of onset, the hot flash that occurs, the sensation of not breathing. Quotes: "You didn't tell me I was going to feel like I'd just killed myself", "It felt like I'd handed the keys over to something I don't understand" and "It hits you way too fast. I like LSD better".

Well... remember to properly inform them about taking it... you are not supposed to sprinkle DMT on somebody´s coffee... don´t mess with free will, maybe they are not suppossed to get that kind of information in their current incarnation...you know... breaking the veil.

I remember a disclaimer text used on a Bufo retreat... it would warn you: take this under your own responsability... it can change your life, your priorities, it can make you leave your couple or family, quit your job, drop collegge, abandon your friends... change your diet, start dressing mandala shirts, playing the handdrum, moving to tha amazon and hug a tree, remove your silicon boobs, etc.

So... don´t offer dmt like if it was popcorn, only because you don´t like doing it alone... you better get used to it, some things can´t be socialized. Not everybody is up for a mystic experience or spiritual awakening.

Advice, specially for people doing it for the first time: work on your ritual, set and setting, and incorporate harmalas... don´t take dmt in a carseat or a bar´s toilet...

I 100% fully agree.

IMHO one should not fall into a fanatic missionary scheme and convince other people to try it. IMHO only insecure people try to do be fanatic missionaries, as it gives them a better feeling when more people are doing something, that they are actually doing the right thing.

I personally would never try to deliberately offer or even worse try to persuade someone into taking DMT who is hesitant. For me this is a personal individual decision, which comes from within, if the time is ripe. If someone comes and asks, then I personally would advice to first inform themselves really properly about this substance and then extract his own.

But again this is just my take on this matter, others may well see it differently.

Why you don't wanna do it alone?

As DMT is an experience about ones self, and which completely disconnects you from this physical reality, I personally see no logic in doing it in a group of people.
