I just found this site while looking up some information to show my girlfriend. I have a lot of experience with entheogens of all types. I have tried everything I could get my hands on. My first experience was with LSD in 8th grade. Many of my friends were older and the grateful dead were going strong at the time. Many of my older friends and friends older brothers and sisters were tour kids and got us going early.
I got into all kinds of drugs and went down many dark paths feeding different addictions. The entheogens were the only drugs that never led me to do shady things so they are the only thing I do today. My life has changed drasticly and I have "grown-up", whatever the hell that even means. I find myself in circles of people that look at me like I am nuts when I mention alternate realities. Forums like this are my only outlet for all the thoughts that go through my head on a daily basis. Some of my experiences were frightening, others enlightening and some just fun.
I discovered dmt when I was following Phish around the country in 1999 when I was 17-18 years old. I had many lsd trips with "heroic" doses that brought me places I never thought possible. The problem was always how long it lasted. The duration was waaaay too long for that heavy of an experience. Though I got a lot out of them, they were too dangerous to have frequently due to the fact that it is nearly impossible control set and setting for 5-9 hours at a time. The first time I found out what a grr was and did my first thumbprint I was astounded. I got off tour and my access to that kind of quantity at that price went away. However, around the same time a supplier/friend gave me a g of dmt. I smoked away and realized that I could have a way more intense experience and that it was so short that I could safely enter the other side.
I stopped for a while and recently acquired a new source for deemsters. Since my first encounters, I have had a lot of time to attempt to process my experiences. I have read many trip reports and many books. I at least know now that I am not unique and I am not nuts for asserting that there is a lot more going on around me at all times. I hope to post on this forum and discuss these experiences with people who wont just laugh off my experiences.
