A short report from SWIM, a friend of mine.
Eyeballing is how we always do it since we have no scale. But I would guess he used somewhere between 35-60mg of spice. He took one gelcap full rue extract and took another one an hour later before smoking about 30 minutes later.
It lasted 2 hours for him. Or I should say, he emerged from his apartment 2 hours later, but I'm pretty sure he has just ended when we talked outside in the moonlight (bright lights bothered him) for about an hour.
The first thing he said to me: "I saw the sun inside of me... I saw the light inside." I was very glad to hear this because the day before a similar experience happened to me. He said he saw the purpose of why we're here and felt "the call" from the world asking for help. He was very solemn and reflective.
I truly believe this "call" are the plants communicating with us humans, its most complex creation. One thing I hope that isn't forgotten about the Spice is the history these plants have (some more than others) as tools by indigenous cultures to communicate with their world around them. Terrance McKenna believes that the Spice is the plants means of communication with us. I only mention this after sharing experiences with two of my buddies who told me they received the same message with me which was more or less: The world is in trouble and calling on some people to help fight. Crazy stuff...
