Exp. Report I want to talk about a traumatic THC "trip" & entity contact

Experience report

Hi! Still pretty new to this forum, but I love the folks here and the vibes. Feel comfortable talking to you all about an experience I had in 2022 during college. I pushed this experience down because it was very traumatic, but during my recent interest in psychedelics over the past year, it has started to creep back into memory.

I was staying in my dorm during the transition between spring and summer semester. I was staying on campus for the summer, and after my last roommate moved out, I decided to have an edible and just chill out. I had purchased a sealed Delta Munchies 25mg D8 gummy pack from a shop and had half of a gummy.

(I was pretty experienced with edibles and flower at this time. I had my first THC high the August of 2021, and I got high about 1-3x times a week.)

At about an hour and a half into the high, I decided to chew on some mint gum. I like how mint gum tastes while I am high, and it feels like someone is "scratching" my brain. I also decided to experiment a bit with one of those silly "increase your high" videos on YouTube, so I was just watching some psychedelic patterns and chewing gum.

Around this time, I was also very, very into Beat Saber. Like absolutely obsessed, and I would typically play it each day after I got back from class.

While I was watching the video, I suddenly heard one of the Beat Saber songs behind me. I wasn't wearing headphones, and the only sound was ambient music from the video on my computer speaker. I turned around, and there was a humanoid monster in the corner of my room (sketch & unfinished painting below).

It was standing in the corner, and the mouths on its head were "trying" to move in sync with the music. The main central mouth would mouth to the lyrics if there were any, but it was somewhat off, like someone who was a bit off beat for a lip sync. The smaller mouths around its head moved in sync with the instruments, like it was "singing" instrumentals. Timing here was also a bit off, like it was struggling to grasp how to accurately repeat the music. It exclusively sung songs from Beat Saber, and it would switch to different tracks every few seconds. It only stood in the corner and never moved. The only part of the body that moved was the mouths.

It was startlingly realistic, like another person standing in the room with me. It also did not exude any "good" or "bad" alignment; it was simply a neutral being. Also, when I first looked at it, I immediately knew that it was my subconscious. That was the main information I learned about it. I also got a horrible feeling that I was about to die, but I am unsure if that is linked to the being. When I get anxious on THC, I can get the feeling I am about to die. I also know this is not an uncommon feeling to experience on THC.

I didn't scream but instead just got out of my chair and backed away from it. I laid on the ground in the emergency position and called 911. I thought I had gotten laced gummies, so I wasn't sure what was about to happen. During the call, the being started to disappear limb by limb. First its legs disappeared, then its arms, then torso, then head. An officer of the university came to get me from my room while we waited on the ambulance, which took 2 hours to arrive. I was down from my high before they came, so I was sent back to my room.

However, I am now revisiting the experience. First, I have worked at two smoke shops over the past 4 months. Both had their own standards for quality and well known gummy brands, and never, EVER, is a package opened, laced, and then resealed. I cannot speak for the shop I got the D8 from, but I believe it to be highly unlikely that I had anything besides D8. I know THC and D8 especially can induce "trip like" experiences, but I couldn't find anything online that is similar to my experience. If anyone knows something or has experienced something like this, please let me know. I'm just trying to figure out what happened, and if some D8 induced "fever dream" is the answer, then that would bring me some closure.

Second, if we just say theoretically what I saw was actually a being from another dimension, things slightly make more sense when I apply how DMT entities might behave. I have not done DMT at this point, but I am very interested in experiencing it in the future. I have also read Rick Strassman's work, The Spirit Molecule. There, some of the entities in the volunteers of the study encountered would make themselves appear in a way that is personalized to the viewer. I don't think this being was trying to hurt me at all. I think it was actually doing everything it could to "comfort me". Wow, it did a great job!

I digress. But the music choice was the first thing that lead me towards this perspective. Beat Saber was my hyperfixation, and music itself has always been very comforting to me. I have headphones I wear almost constantly, especially in public. I have autism, so my listening "routine" is music, not unpredictable public spaces. It sang to me. Also, it has the body of a larger man. Larger male body types are the least intimidating to me. I date men, and I find bigger guys more attractive, kind, and warm. A big muscular guy kind of scares me.

(Also, side note, at the time, I did not understand why the creature had male genitalia. Then, I identified as a woman, but I was experimenting with nonbinary. I thought it was interesting that it, my subconscious, was male, and I, the consciousness, was female. I now have realized I am a trans man, and I have been trans for the last year and a half. It knew I was trans before I did. I also think that it might have been naked to show me this part of its body, but it didn't need to reveal itself entirely. It also had a blanket to cover up, but it did not use it. A friend and I talked about this experience at length, and they thought it might be because it was being vulnerable with me, who was not sober. It might have been trying to show it was also vulnerable and we were both in the same boat, but again, I am not sure.)

Next, the crablike arms are actually the limbs I use for two alien species I have designed for books/comics I want to write. Both are related species that have the same crustacean limbs. I designed the limbs to specifically follow praying mantis limb proportions but crablike shells. Both species are also multidimensional beings. One of them, however, at the time, I was very fond of and I was designing more of her character. Her name is Creature Blu, and she is an insectoid creature in a between dimension called Blank Space. She is in charge of balancing all of the dimensions around her own, but she cannot leave this space. The being I met wasn't "unallowed" to be with me, but I had a feeling that it was not entirely supposed to be there.

The most difficult elements are the blanket and the getas. I love weighted blankets and can't sleep well without one, so I am guessing that is another "comfort" element. Not entirely sure though. I do not have a solid idea of what the getas mean. I went online and learned that getas are traditionally used in markets by shop owners, especially food vendors. The getas raise them above any food matter or waste that might have fallen to the ground. (Correct me if this is wrong.) When talking about this with my mom, she mentioned that he didn't have any contact with our world. He was entirely raised above it. The only thing touching here was clothes, not the body.

I don't know if this all might just be the ramblings of a mad man, but I just want to see if anyone here has any insight. This is also my only entity contact ever, so I would appreciate feedback from anyone with entity contact. Just really trying to understand what might have happened. I have not had anything like this happen before or since, and I have had much more potent THC gummies and psychedelics since then.

First of all: the painting and the drawing are really cool. You are very good.
And then: Wow...I've never heard of anything similar induced by THC.
Also, when I first looked at it, I immediately knew that it was my subconscious.
That's what I thought, since you said you listened to that music everyday. The elements you added later on the crab arms and the sheets are an additional clue to this. May be that you have projected in front of you your state when you listen to that music. Certain things you felt while listening to that music were symbolically transformed into something visual (into that entity) and you visualized them. It makes me think a looot about one of my favorite manga: Homunculus by Hideo Yamamoto. In my opinion there are interesting philosophical/psychological insights there that can trigger a new version of what you have seen. I won't do any spoilers!

I think it was actually doing everything it could to "comfort me". Wow, it did a great job!
:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Also, side note, at the time, I did not understand why the creature had male genitalia.
Genital organs and sex have so many symbolic meanings in our unconscious that it is really difficult to understand at that moment what it could mean. Maybe nothing.

Anyway, thanks for sharing. It was very interesting to read.

What a peculiar experience! I want to echo what MAGMA17 said above - your expression on paper is pretty dope!

Also, calling an ambulance and then waiting for TWO hours is just unacceptable. I assume this is in the US, which makes it even more ridiculous considering how much these medical services cost. I'm just thankful you weren't in an actually life threatening situation and had to wait that long for help...

In terms of your experience, I cannot say I've gone through something like that. The closest I've had to this is a K-hole from a few years ago which I did while I was kind of addicted to playing Apex Legends. For those unfamiliar with the game, you're dropped in a big area with other people and the goal is to be the last one surviving. To make people move, there's an ever-closing circular zone, and when you go outside of it, you take damage and ultimately die. The zone makes a very nasty and oppressive mechanical noise.

The ketamine experience I had was not born out of some specific intent, to be quite honest, I did it just because I wanted to do something different with my day. Well, when I was really deep in, I got transported in a space that defies physical explanation, yet that same zone from Apex was present there as well, and it was ever closing on me, on my heels, and I had to run from it constantly. This overwhelming sensation of impending doom was with me constantly, feeling like I was going to die in the next few seconds. No matter how fast I ran, it was always on my heels. It was torture.

I took it as a sign that I should stop wasting my time with this game and start doing more meaningful things, such as learning Spanish, which I had to do at the time due to my incoming trip to Peru. And ultimately, it did me good.

Perhaps this experience had the same purpose for you - to make you reprioritize things in your life, decrease the amount of time spent in Beat Saber (which is a cool game btw!) and focus on other more important things you might subconsciously be avoiding.

Just a wild guess, though. Thanks for sharing.

Take care <3
