ive heard people who describe aya as very motherly say that iboga is like a stern grandfather who sort of kicks you in the ass, so it sounds like a strange mix indeed..but still, i have no idea how harmalas would fit into a mix like that
A treatment provider I have spoken to was of the opinion that Iboga root bark is active when smoked. He liked to smoke it with tobacco. I'd be careful mixing it with any harmala alkaloids from the outset, would be probably be wise to get to know it on its own first.
That is a good question, and why one should be very careful if they want to mix Iboga with harmala alkaloids. However I believe it is the norIbogaine that has SSRI like properties, as oppose to the Ibogaine and other alkaloids, with this being converted from Ibogaine via enzymes in the liver. This hangs around in body tissues for many weeks after a flood dose and what is likely responsible for the extended positive afterglow. Also a few people on here have combined small quantities of Iboga with caapi and reported a positive and interesting synergy, but I would still definitely advise caution when combining these two very powerful plants.
The resulting Noribogaine will kill it for another 2-3 weeks.
Nothing but body buzz on up to 100mgs xtal DMT.
Low doses of harmala's (caapi tea unreduced) and iboga (up to 4g high potency rootbark) synergizes very nicely.
However, this combo could possibly be dangerous and I advise people to weigh the risks before mixing.
