This is a totally hypothetical scenario, but one I've been thinking about for a while.
We know that Ibogaine acts as an addiction interrupter that works for opiates and (annecdotaly) some stimulants. I was wondering if it could help you get over a failed relationship. The mechanism by which we fall 'in love' is very similar to chemical dependence, and when you break up with someone, that pain is similar to a withdrawal.
So say you had someone who went through a bad breakup and couldn't seem to get over their SO. Could you dose them with Ibogaine to help expedite the healing process?
