If there is a little base specs mixed with final pull does that ruin the batch

I believe I've just got a little specs and everytime I try to smoke my final product it's just way too harsh. I understand the method of smoking is important. But I'm just worried if it's from contaminated final product. I've even done a re x and it's still very harsh. Should I just discard it and start all over again? This time don't worry about getting all the naphta down to the last drop to prevent getting any base mixed in?

There are a load of answers for this but I'll try to summarise:

Base soup = bad news. Avoiding is more important than getting every drop of NPS out

Technically it should not get hot enough to vaporise but why take the risk?

Harsh taste usually means burnt DMT.

If in any doubt after taking all steps to clean your product then, sure, trash the batch and start again. Making more is easy and fun. To repeat, why risk it?

I appreciate it . If I take 10mg in a regular glass pipe, barely get it hot to melt and inhale a little bit....I assume it wouldn't be that harsh..nowhere close to burning it.

If your concerned there is base in the final product it does not ruin it, it just needs to be cleaned up. I will refer you to this thread to start: The Base in Your Product

Give that a shot and see if you notice a difference
