Ha! What Stereotypes? People so afraid of the way another person dresses, talks as if the person can be determined by what car they drive. I mean 'hippy freaks' are cool because their human-ness and freedom of outspoken virtues of their emphatic qualities as a human being and their awareness of the relationship planet they live on they live wild, passionate chaotic and free. you can see them dance on old antidrug propaganda films while you toke with your friends watching them in full throttle LSD protest/revelry dancing under spells of blissful rythmic spasms. Catholics were afraid of Pagans many were perhaps your ancestors as plenty I'm sure were mine- if not than I'll raise the standard of my heritage myself
Not to mention psychedelic rednecks, why I think pinkfloyd and country could get along- Boy has music gone down the drain! Spearfisher if you want to know what I think- music! Music is why this generation needs psychedelic drugs, because we have all secretly convinced ourselves that we're at the tip of the iceburg as for music flexibility. DMT is here for us NOW to see the vision that bad music has stolen away from us. You ever just hear a GREAT song and you feel you've heard it too late? and it comes like a visually apprehensive message, or one those songs that put you into the dark corner of the composers view as if through your own eyes or certain bands like pinkfloyd, the doors, FULL of IMAGERY -that just leads you through a place you never thought your own thoughts could inhabit?
Friedrich nietzsche said without Music life would be pointless
all the BEST poets before than smoked hashish, opium or drink absinthe until later musical revolutions on Grand scales came and stole it's fire, where oration (words) became more symbolic and praised. the stage Music has ambivalently played it's role in EVERY GOOD about the 60's ebbed with that same vision in the holiest lime light of the past two millennia since the baptism of Jesus! Once discocame out music more and more segragated it's self into too many genres without a single culture to thrive off one in particular, Just when our beloved notion 'medicine' took it's wing soon crossing a thin fine white line into the business sphere of drugs and power and public fear and beurea controll. The nineties was all about music leading our way aplomb in the new world. Now I think DMT has magically fallen into our hands to give us that radical chemical/spiritual push from the profane nihilist corporate rooted bottomless pit of the ash trayed universe and into a world stripped from it's mass historical perspective (visionary-idealistic-sensate) gearshift gestalt settings. Like a map laid out all too promisingly, this new age brought us the super psychedelic DMT. And like psychedelics music and it were meant to be one. Although we like to make art about psychedelics or music after it. As an artist, poet and sometimes musician I learned it's best to take them when making art and just because you can learn the instrument a thousand times faster but, because your emotions are pronounced while under it's spell and therefor any art than and there is real your art imitates life imitating art. It's so surprising how we live in such an age of occupational fetishism when life was meant to be Art it's self, wild passionate chaotic and free.
Sincerely The Jarl
