I'll be posting a lot about my first results as a newbie.

Decided to go for the A/B extraction method. The tek my friend gave me she uses looks solid but I've been seeing a lot of teks call for MHRB, when I was going to use Banisteriopsis caapi Mono instead of MHRB. I don't know if MHRB would be the best and she didn't tell me what specific bark she uses, but it's definitely a bark.

Hey there and welcome to the Nexus!

But hold up a minute... You realise Banisteriopsis caapi isn't a DMT source plant but rather contains alkaloids like harmine, harmaline and tetrahydroharmine (THH)? These require a different approach to extraction - for one thing, they're not soluble in naphtha.

I would suggest you have a rethink and do some more background reading, perhaps in the areas of botany and plant secondary metabolites, before proceeding with an extraction. That caapi of yours is treasure as is and could be used to make a brew.
If you remain intent on extracting from your vine, you might want to try something like gibran2'sEasy Caapi Vine Alkaloid Extraction Guide. Fortunately, extracting harmala alkaloids from caapi, while maybe not as straightforward as from Syrian rue (Peganum harmala) seeds, does not require any solvents apart from water.

Still, that caapi is precious so I would strongly suggest you got experience with extracting from something easier first.

I don't believe I'm ready for the brew, and considering the medications I take I can't be on any kind of MOAI inhibitor soooo. Brew is off the table for awhile, but I know it'd be safe for me to vaporize some crystal of it in my tabletop vaporizer.

Could you clarify for us exactly what medications you are using? Some of them might prevent psychedelics including DMT from having any significant effect and it would in those circumstances be better to wait until such time as you are able to safely reduce the dosage of these medications rather than wasting time and materials on something that won't have any effect.

And if you're not able to drink caapi brew safely it wouldn't be entirely wise to vaporize extracted harmala alkaloids either.
