Thanks for following up that first post with something a lot more real. The initial post you made was an equation for how NOT to get promoted here at Nexus
There was no requirement of length or content in the instructions, so I opted for the minimum
regardless of who you are or claim you are. We see those about every week or two and they get old in my opinion.
I don't use my claim for VIP treatment [I don't believe in that regardless of who it is]. I use it merely for familiarity. Many people know me here [but not under my tabaluga nic] and what better way to introduce myself than to provide my full real identity! The fact that I am associated with that forum and that business is simply who I am. It's like someone else saying they work at walmart or at the local deli for the last decade.
I for one appreciated it. I will watch you on this site and if all looks like it's right, I will quickly vote you for promotion.
thanks! much appreciated.
Meanwhile, what's the rush man? Take a good look around. Frankly, the Welcome Area is where the most action is and where the most interesting posts are. It takes a LONG time to become familiar with this HUGE resource. People have worked for several years creating a huge amount of accurately researched depth information here. Cutting edge research is being conducted on plant analysis, finding new DMT plants, new teks, as well as growing entheogenic plants from live starts and/or seeds.
I am well aware of the value of this resource. I have contributed to it in many ways in the past. I am 44 and simply don't have a lot of time in my life. I like to help people, but my help is far more valuable in the areas no accessible to new members. I may only pop in once a month to help out with a problem, or I might be here for a week every day and then not for months at a time. Whatever it takes to solve important problems and to prevent spread of misinformation. There area lot of australian members here and some of the legal issues facing us in the next few months will be quite overwhelming.
Since when is impatience a virtue? You sound like you might be close to 30 years old. Is this a main lesson you have learned?
I am 44, but I am still trying to pack as much into my days as I used to 10 years ago - despite my health problems. The other side has far more reseources than we do and there are just not enough people to fight with the right tools on this side. I did not pick legal issues out of any desire, but out of necessity. That necessity keeps growing while the capacity keeps shrinking. My reference to impatience being a virtue was tongue in cheek. It is the occasional impatience that allows me to be virtuous where it counts. ie time saved in one area allows me to spend it in another. At the moment that means spending more time educating people about the law and gathering momentum to fight it. I can always rest when we have won or lost
re The Entheogen review, I can't recall if I have actually made any contributions to it. I am friends with both previous editors and have given advice on some topics, but can't recall having written anything. why do you ask?
