Important message for EU-based hobby chemists

Please fill in the survey mentioned in the video:

Petition to sign if you're short on time:

Previous Survey from the EU about this Regulation and Results:

The EU-Regulation itself:

Please be sure to explain to them why this is especially pointless and how much harm it's causing.

An excellent point is made in this video - "terrorists don't care about the law, innocent people do". I find it almost funny how some higher-ups think, that if they ban these substances and make them widely unavailable by regular means, these horrible people who want to kill others will be completely stumped by that and unable to proceed with finding whatever it is they need on the black market. It's actually such a backwards way of thinking. I've signed the survey, let's see.

Once again, more ignorant behavior from EU politicians who are totally disconnected from normal life
and in the pocket of international commerce. The EU seems to have been on a self-destruction course for years now.
Governments have become so arrogant and prideful that even common sense makes no sense to them.
May sanity prevail!

Can't agree more, and this image should be representative of Eu greatest accomplishments... which means a lot :ROFLMAO:

EU has netneutrality, GDPR and many other laws to protect its citizens.

Stop bashing EU for pointless subjects. And these non-removable bottlecaps can be a bit unhandy, but anyone who has volunteered to clean up the crap people leave in nature fully understands why this simple thing is a huge win.

Kind regards,

The Traveler

Yeah, the kneejerk EU-bashing is rather… 🤦‍♂️ I've been in the process of mulling over my response, which would incude food standards and decades of peace among EU nations among the net positives we get from such coordinated international cooperation. And we must remember, the last public consultation did result in some level of favorable amendment of the legislation - let's see that repeated!

PS - apologies for posting something that obviously carries the risk of spilling over into the flag-waving side of politics. I thought more than twice before posting about this.

Don't get me wrong, I live in the EU. I wouldn't say anything at all if I didn't care.
For every good law, there are a few crazy ones. These bottle caps are useless, in my opinion.
I see no less trash because of them, yet someone made a fortune remaking all the equipment and such.
EU presents a good front, but not everything works so well behind the scenes.
Maybe that's the best we can do right now. Sorry if it sounded like EU bashing, but I stand by my opinion.
Peace 🙏

Yes, it's difficult, especially with corporate lobbying at play. I'd prefer to stay focussed on the main message of this thread, which is about our opportunity to contribute a positive influence on changes and help keep citizen science alive and well in the EU. Strangling creativity with ill-considered legislation would be such a sad waste of talent.

Totally agree with that, sorry if I offended some people here by taking the opportunity to express what I feel, I also live in the EU, and feel legitimate to make some criticism.
I'll get back to my main reason of being here on this forum, which is learning and sharing about subjects related to psychedelics and exploration of greater topics like consciousness... 🙏

I signed the petition after watching the video.
In my Nordic country, we went from zero bombings to one per week.
As an immigrant myself, I know very well that there are many different ways for criminals to obtain chemicals.
Lots of weapons, chemicals, and drugs come from Baltic countries, totally unregulated.
There's a very dark side to the EU that many citizens simply aren't aware of. So, you can see that my view of the EU is a bit different.
I want this part of the world to thrive, not to engage in stupid wars and power-mongering.
The EU, like most of the West, needs to wake up to its roots and true potential.
Peace 🙏

They don't think that, they know what they are doing, and they just want to complicate innocent people's lives.
