Awesome! I'm currently researching decorating options for my trip space. We should start a home deco sub...

Thanks!
And yes, I would love to see a home deco thread, but there is no way people are cool enough to send in pictures of their setups (a.k.a, spaceships)
...or are they?

A relatively inexpensive laser-light thing I believe it's called a 'firefly'. Plus candles.

Very chill and warm, definitley a cozy spot to space travel. Thanks for sharing Sunnyside! :)

:!: You should be very careful about posting this type of stuff. :!: :!:

The "EXIF" data in your pics that you upload may have GPS data of your home and you are posting that here. If you post extraction pics (crime) as well it can be used to link that to your account and then you and be used to send you to jail if you live in such a place.

You can scrub the EXIF data with a special program or take a screenshot of the pic and use that. Be careful of what you show such as calendars, mail sitting on the counter, out of a window, a pic of your back yard (actually seen it on the Nexus), etc...

You should also be aware that you don't have any amount of privacy on a cell phone due to the way the cellular/radio network is configured and maintained. Not to mention recent laws in the good ol' Free USA.

You do not even need a special program for that.

Just right-click on you picture file, go to "Properties", choose "Details" and click on "Remove Properties and Personal Information". Once there, choose "Remove the following properties from the file:" then click on "Select All" and press OK.

You can process multiple files in this way.

This applies for Windows OSes.

No need, pics data are automatically erased when posted on nexus. All hail the traveller !

He may want to verify that, as of a few months ago I PM'd someone to let them know to be careful because they posted a pic of their extraction from their Galaxy phone that had plenty of EXIF data on it. Shutter speed, Phone make/model, GPS, all that. I got no response but I hope he saw the PM and is more careful since he was in the USA. Maybe it was an embedded pic hotlinked from somewhere else and not hosted on this forum, I'm not entirely sure, but I believe it was on the forum.

If I could ever get a hold of The Traveller, I would like to ask him to reduce the amount of JavaScript on here so us Tor users could post new threads and search easier without enabling JavaScript. :want:

I knew someone would say this, because one has thought this for oneself--fear, paranoia, and anxiety, are common to all. I do thank you for your watchful, protective advice, but a picture of a dark room and a screen is a picture of a room and a screen, all added thought, what is it? Imagination. Images. As soon as you say police the image of a police man raiding the house comes, with the image comes the feeling, with the feeling comes the rationalization.

What is one to do about this condition of the brain?

Nothingness.

Yup

Any pictures that you upload to the DMT-Nexus forum are already stripped of their EXIF data before they are stored on the server.

However, pictures that are linked from an external site with the tag are of course not hosted on the DMT-Nexus, and as such are not altered in any way. Stripping these external images on the fly would unfortunately cost too much resources.

we should open something like an inspirational home interior thread

I know some of you guys hide some really magic places from the outer world 😁

I'm for example so in love with this room... for years!

Unfortunately can't give credits to the producer bc I forgot his/her name

EDIT : his name is "synxss"

Just discovered you made the suggestion first... SECOND that 😁
Although I'm pretty freaking at this deco thing, I moved to another flat recently and I'm still in the "building phase" - I would love to see what you guys doing out there!
Therefore this is something really personal and to some degree a risky thing in terms of identification someone could develop a system to threw these picture in a big pool kind of thread and anonymize the pictures in example only one person (MOD) uploads all the interior pictures or whatever (which get sent in)!

But the music nerds here will probably totally agree
