Migrated topic.

Any suggestions on how to infuse those?

2 types:

A/B rue, without MANSKE step, which looks like light brown powder.

Banisteriopsis caapi alkaloids

Oh I wasnt clear enough -_-;

I meant to ask about the methods of infusing those into changa.

edited my original topic.

thank you :)

Warm non-denatured ethanol is, according to some people, a good way to infuse herbs. Personally I know that IPA and acetone arent good solvents for harmalas but seems 96% or so ethanol when warm (hot water bath) dissolves harmalas reasonably good. Then just evaporate it onto the herbs and voilá

tell us how it went! (and if you can measure and share the results of how much harmalas were there and how much alcohol was needed to dissolve, even better! )

Btw, why dont you manske those rue alkaloids once and the base again, to get rid of vasicine/vasicinone ?

iso is fine..add some water to it. I dissolved harmalas in 75% iso in a minute or 2..I stirred it quickly and 2 minutes later they were completely dissolved. Ethanol is more $ and harder to come across..might as well use 75% iso or get 99% and add a bit of water.

Thank you all.

I prefer A/B rue to A/B + MANSKE rue due to the volume as well as the effects.

EDIT: not planning to get pregnant :d
