Insight needed: naphtha pulls, volumes, freeze precipitation.

Hey all! :d
I've been working on my first extraction, DMT Handbook tek, A/B, 500g of Acacia Confusa. I did 4 pulls each of around 150ml and then put the naphtha into three(3) mason jars, so i got collected around ~550ml of Naphtha because i had a little froth in the first pull.
I put the jars in the freezer roughly 13 hours ago and planned to leave them in the freezer for 48 hours.

Now I've been reading over Naphtha amounts and I wasn't sure how much to use to begin with, now I'm worried I used too much naphtha and that I should've pre evaporated before I freeze precipitated.
Could anyone give me some insight as to: (1) whether what I've done so far is okay, (2) should I allow the crystals to precipitate (as they had already begun to after ~20 minutes of sitting out and cooling) and then pre evaporate the naphtha from the original jars, and (3) should I do more pulls, and of what quantity if so?

Thanks guys! I tried finding answers to my questions beforehand, but I couldn't find anything specific enough to my situation.

Small quantities of naphtha can become very saturated, you dont need a lot. 50ml is typically more than enough per pull.

Mason jars dont really work that well, at least compared to a glass baking dish. Its all about spreading the surface area of the naphtha out, crystals dont drop out of a deep, narrow mixture as easily as they do in a low, flat, wide surface area. Plus, if anything, its just way easier to scrape a glass baking dish than it is to try and get your xtals out of a jar. Also, 12-24 hrs is more than enough usually for xtals to drop out from the naphtha.

Do you have any xtals in your jars now? My guess would be probably no, right? If so, maybe one or two here and there?

Hmm, then I think I'll do couple more pulls and put them in a glass bowl or baking dish thing.

And there are actually a lot of xtals that have dropped out! If, by xtals, you mean crystals.
If I go ahead and pour the naphtha out into a container and clean the crystals out of the mason jar, would it be beneficial to take that naphtha and put it into the bowl to precipitate again?

Yes. Id say pour off the naptha now. Evaporate some of it. Collect the crystals that have already formed, which should be fairly high quality. Then freeze the rest of the naptha in a baking dish.

Oh thats great for you then! First few times I tried jars, I barely got anything dropping out. And yes xtals = crystals

And yes I always take the poured off naphtha and throw it back into the freezer for some time, you never know what'll pop up! Definitely pour it into a baking dish though.

For me, doing 50g of bark, my most saturated pulls are usually the first 3, with doing any more pulls past there just a waste of time because I never seem to get anything past 3. With 100g of bark though you may need to do 5 or 6. Ive never done that much bark. But keep going some more.

Remember, warmer/hot naphtha will allow maximum saturation of what youre looking for and it will help cut down on unwanted fats and oils coming along for the ride too. When it comes time to freeze precipping, for maximum yield, you actually want to slow the cooling process down as much as possible. To do this, place your pull into the fridge for about an hour, and then transfer to the freezer. This helps greatly, rather than just sticking it right into the freezer.
