Rising Star
When I first jumped into the Nexus I posted that I was inspired to paint by my early Salvia and Spice explorations.

Here are a few of my paintings created in the last few weeks while taking my first baby steps, It really has proven to be a positive and therapeutic new hobby. I dont have good technique and really no training at all, I never even finished a painting before in my life, only trying a few times over many years , and now after partaking of Salvia ,and then later Changa I have found the artistic voice I didnt know I had. I feel I learn more about painting and myself with every brush stroke.

Constructive criticism is welcome!

how did you do these? they look as if they're textured. very nice indeed shaman!

I like the one 2nd from the bottom the best, I like them all though :)

Thank you my friend, all are acrylic paint on stretched canvas, the texture look is probably because I dont know how to paint smoothly, Im probably not mixing my paints very well. But again, its a work in progress, im really happy to find another artistic outlet.

Thanks again!

the 1st and 3rd ones look 3D.. very cool.

All the right brain stimulation from psychedelics does the arts wonders, from music to dance and poetry to painting.
I've taken a lot of inpiration from these journeys.

Indeed Camakazi, they are 3-D , I should have mentioned that , here is another angle.

Thank you~

Your quite welcome ragabr , I guess I wanted to portray the feelings I get when on a journey , as we know it is a bit of an impossible task to paint what we SEE on this journey, but I thought to express the wonderful feeling of going beyond our normal perception to that 4th dimension...and beyond that.

Increasing number of talents on nexus everyday :) so nice to see... congrats man ur style is great.. i liked ur artwork so much.. especially the style in "glyph" is very cool, but it could be more complicated colorful canvas.. i hope u keep them coming man..

Thanks Corridor for your constructive critique, I took your advice to heart and last night stayed up until 3:30 am painting, I free handed a drawing in pencil then painted it in . I usually paint the background first and then work on top of that base color , but this time I just painted the background as I went along and I was able to add bit more brightness and color this way.

Thanks for the good direction ~
