Hello fellow psychonauts! :d
On a brief intro I am a highly spiritual person with strong rightly divided christian beliefs. as this may detur some people it is important to see truth and follow truth as you find it. I have had multiple substantial experiences with substances such as marajuana, MDMA powder and liquid (mind blowing) MDMA, LSD, mushrooms and various others. Recently I have come across DMT and the universe expands! I look forward to all the great input and ideas on this forum and hearing all the trip reports!

now my question.... so a brief prelude, there was a straight to base extraction done on mimosa hostilis root bark using vm and p naphtha with a resulting yield of about .05%. a few months roll by and the left over mud is used in a jungle spice extraction using xylene.

now swim likes to put all portions of the left over mud into one larger container (less that 1 gal.) so the remaining solvent can be collected. soo heres my question....

a new mysterious layer has appeared. What is it? its a light colored cloudy and sparse layer looking like strings of goo that sits above the root bark mud somewhere in the top water and solvent layers. I dont know what this stuff is? anywho it was collected in a dish and left to evaporate. Is there any input on what this may be?

Thanks in advance!

After the small dish evaporated the new layer appears to be what people refer to as the red jungle spice. all the regular spice is a waxy yellow orange almost resembling ear wax. Any thoughts?

probably it's plant material that started to break down more and more due to the long time left in the base-solution. Probably it contains some alcaloids and some unwanted stuff as well. I'd stick to the regular spice from the "clean" layer.

Welcome to the nexus.
