Hello Nexus,
I'm fairly new to the site but I like the attitude and want/need to expand our knowledge on this subject, seems like there's a very positive attitude here and a lot of information to be attained which is what I am looking for.
I'm in my mid 20's, and have experimented with "the spirit molecule" twice now. I have always been raised to have an open mind towards spirituality, the paranormal, cultural understandings of the other plains of existence, and so forth. It has always interested me a great deal. Most of it started when I was 14-16, I was sent to a counselor for depression issues which I thought was bogus. Turns out the counselor thought I was capable of handling my own emotions as well, so we ended up just talking through most of our sessions about shamanism. In college he had majored in Anthropology and studied with a real tribe on their cultures and practices. One day he and I decided it was time for us to part ways, so for the last scheduled session we planned on having a guided shamanic journey right there in his office. Needless to say I was skeptic, but open to it at the same time, and it worked. What happened that day helped solidify my interest in the other-worldly and left me with a sense of craving, craving for more knowledge and experience.
I spend most of my youth thinking about these things, mostly just to myself since others usually just stop listening when it comes to this subject or label it impossible and me crazy right off the bat. I started college, retaining my interest in how this world and others work but not actually accomplishing much. I was out of state for a couple years whilst doing this. When I returned, I got in touch with an old friend of mine. He and I have always had the same interest in this field and we started talking again. Turns out while I was starting to fall away from researching these things, he had been picking up more and more on it. We started talking one night and DMT came up, from there it was on. The info he pesented me with, and the things happening in this community are the advancements I've been looking for. So immediately I was hooked again, and through a crazy turn of events we ended up obtaining some and moving foreward from there. (I'll post my first trips in a different section)
What I want from the nexus community. I am not horribly active with the internet lately but I would like the opportunity this community provides to obtain better understanding of what's going on, be able to ask questions and search for the answers I'm craving, and possibly one day I can offer feedback myself to others looking for the same.
