I read a quote from Freud once that described Nietzsche like so: "he had more penetrating knowledge of himself than any man who ever lived or was likely to live." I wonder if this level of introspection is more debilitating than enlightening? It seems the more I understand, the further my self-enquiry goes, the truths are simply impossible to integrate into the conscious mind. Free will, it seems to me, is a mere illusion. But how do I reconcile that fact with the fact that I am willing these letters onto this page?

Reading the posts in this thread have taken me closer to an objective understanding of truth than I feel I have ever touched before. And as the posters note, it is not a pleasant perception. My experiences so far with the spice have enabled me to comprehend and integrate these difficult concepts into my consciousness. From my understanding of the universe before psychedelics, it would seem that these experiences on DMT must stem from my own mind in some way. What I perceive must be my mind's attempt at interpreting a wild cascade of neurotransmitters firing neurons in pathways that are novel, foreign, and utterly alien. My experiences on the spice seem to defy this explanation; how can I explain the experience as simple chance? And so I am left with simply more and more questions.
