I'm glad to see it can be worked with to gain something of value out of , my only psychedelic experiences previously was just two mushroom trips, and those were pretty mild. I've never done any other substances, but I was so curious after the mushrooms I felt I'd missed something important and decided to try DMT . I'm saddened that this seems to have made me go down in some people's esteems as though I've become some kind of junkie, and so there is only a very small number of people I can share my experiences with , without facing admonishment or redicule. I've found it to be so therapeutic so far that I'm saddened I can't really express it to people I'm close to.     But yes, absolutely, I think you get the most out of it by working with it. You can't sit back and let the plant do all the work . I've actually learned to hold a meditative state for a few minutes so in between hits I can hold the state of mind. That's a big step for me, I've tried many times over the years to meditate, but I had no idea what I was actually supposed to be doing, and I'd just get bored or fall asleep!

Anyway bit of background about me, I'm 30, female, tattooist/artist
