Could you help me with an ID? This is in the Avon Valley near Toodyay, the main problems I came across was, aside from not flowering, there were no pods, only those little seed like things as pictured on the right. I found 1 that seems like it still had some dying flowers on it.

I tried to ID it from the appearance of the trunk/main branches, it's a bit spotted, 'barks' near the soil. Appears the same as any non flowering picture I've seen, the leaves are the same and when cut open it wasn't "raspberry jam"-like but maybe sort of sweet smelling.

These are fucking everywhere though, like fields of them. I didn't kill one, I got plenty of bark from digging around the roots and stripping some. Might make them unhealthy, but there's a lot of strong roots and these are big like trees.

Any opinions would be appreciated. I'll start getting my shit together for the extraction today.
