Ahoy fellow pirates, wizards, tryptamine cowboys...

I just submitted my first post, in the S.H.E. blog. By an uncanny coincidence, I had my first session with the Spice in over a month, last night, the night of the S.H.E. meeting! It was also a rather scary experience, with a new sample of Spice I'd just picked up; I took about 4 hits, like normal, after pre-dosing with Syrian Rue, and felt it taking effect very strongly. But on that 4th toke, I felt like I burnt some sort of chemical in the Spice (I thought it was lye, apparently not), and I thought I could feel this chemical traversing through my body, along with the DMT. I felt like I nearly died, it was kinda scary to be trypping so hard, and to have all that going on within my body. Someone else suggested I probably just accidentally burnt some of the Spice; I've seen it referred to as being like inhaling chlorine gas. Nevertheless, I've had at least 50-60 sessions with Spice, and nothing like this happened before. Any comments?

So my first DMT tryp, the setting was in my apartment, it was last June, around the Summer Solstice, on a beautiful cool summer day, with a breeze flowing through the room. The sun was beginning to set over the mountains outside my window, and I was relaxing with a friend, a very good feeling. I decided it'd be a good time to try out some of the orange DMT gook a friend had gifted me - I'd misfired the previous time I tried, and the entire glob melted into the bowl stem. This time, I loaded plenty of parsley underneath the glob so I wouldn't lose it. I took two hits, tasted the Spice mildly, but on the third one, I was floored. It was as if millions of shards of DMT crystal instantly filled my entire body, and my feet kicked out due to the force of it. At the same time, it was an immensely pleasurable and healing sensation to have the DMT travelling through the bloodstream. The other strange thing that happened was I immediately came in contact with this 'entity' that spoke with the voice of an ancient, old man; this entity 'told' me while I was hitting the Spice that I was doing it correctly, and that I should keep going, keep inhaling as much as I could. Needless to say, I listened.

After that toke, I put the bowl down, and was immediately shot off, like through a cannon, out over the mountains directly towards the sun, at an incomprehensibly fast speed. At the same time, the entire universe was twisting around the thread that marked where I'd already flown and where I was flying to. At this point, a green man, sort of a mixture between an Aztec god and Celtic representations of the Green Man, appeared, and he was also wrapped around this 'thread'. I felt as if the man and the thread represented a portal, but I wouldn't be allowed access to whatever lay at the other side of the portal.

At this point I came back to my body, and some trance music was playing in the room. The DMT gave the music a sped-up feel, and I felt like the elves were communicating directly through the music. At this point, my friend was looking at me with a very knowing look, as if he could tell something quite powerful had happened. The Spice soon wore off, but I had a very nice afterbuzz that lasted the rest of the evening.

I've since explored the Spice maybe 50-60 times; I've had all sorts of wild experiences, naturally, but nothing like this feeling of being shot through a cannon out through the universe.

I consider myself an intelligent explorer, interested in mathematics, philosophy, science, indigenous peoples, and more recently esoteric studies (chaos magick and all that jazz). I'm looking forward to my new membership at DMT-Nexus.

hey bro, welcome to the nexus.

maybe the rue had something to do with the experience you had, burnt spice does taste horrid, but im not sure thats what gave you the scary experience.

Sounds like a mixture of rue and too much spice might have been the culprit.

Hello there, thank you. I'm plenty experienced with the Rue/DMT combination, and I feel confident it wasn't the Rue, though the Rue's effects were pronounced in other areas of the experience. I felt like I took a physical hit of an AWFUL chemical, that's why I assumed lye, but found other people saying this could be due to burning DMT. Perhaps I burnt a lot of it, inhaled it, and got spooked, but it was scary.
