Hey everyone,
I've read these forums for a couple of years now. There's some really good info without the "attitude" that you sometimes see on other sites. I actually joined up last night to ask a question about a post on Celastrus aka "Intellect Tree" and hope that I can get full posting privileges in order to ask this question and contribute my own experiences. I've been really interested in entheogens for the past 10 years or so and have done a lot of reading and independent research on various plants, alone and in combination. However, no amount of journal articles will ever be a substitute for real, personal experience, and this is where a forum like this really shines. I was a member of a large (now defunct) entheogen forum for a few of years and am looking for a new home. I know the focus of this forum is DMT and while in a past life I may have dreamt about ingesting a LOT of your typical hallucinogens, to be completely honest, I have not been interested in a full hallucinogenic experience for a number of years now for a variety of personal reasons. While my goals and focus have changed since then, I've still maintained a passionate interest in these substances and enjoy learning about them while I wait for the proper time for exploration to arise again. The healing powers of ayahuasca are something of great interest to me as well as the newer oil-based teks. My first word was "light" and I know that at some point I will not be able to resist the calling. But I know that now is not the right time for me and I think it's very important to respect these things and not jump headfirst into a sacred experience without the required preparations. Still, I'm hoping that all you fine folks here will accept me and grant me full membership so that we can learn together and educate each other. Thank you.
