Is SWIM part of the 10%?

Hey guys,

Apologies for yet another 'it's not working' thread, but my friend has tried nearly everything!

I read on another thread that 10% of people struggle to get effects from D. Well, I'm beginning to wonder if my friend is part of that.

I don't make that statement lightly.

He has come to a point where his spice is very pure. Maybe a couple of extractions ago he couldn't say that, but now he's doing 2 freeze precips and his D is clearly pure. It also smokes without any harshness at all.

However, he can't get past threshold on it. He's tried a normal base pipe, a lightbulb, a vaporiser and has finally built the machine. Even with the machine and even taking in several lungfulls of smoke he can't get past colours hanging in the air and on the walls and slight movements of things. Each extra lungful doesn't seem to be pushing it any further. And this is using doses of up to 100mg.

He's still got 0.9 of his stuff left.

If anyone's got any ideas I'd be happy to hear them. If not, after this I'm not sure if he'll be able to afford to do any more and fail again.

Try some harmaloids with the smoked spice. Maybe even ayahuasca or pharmahuasca. SWIY could get 1 dose of caapi copy or harmine from our trusted vendor and drop 150mg of freebase DMT into a shot of lemon juice.(After the DMT dissolves I would mix that shot of juice in with a glass of water)

That's why I said to drop the freebase into lemon juice. The acids will turn the freebase into a salt.

Having pure spice is not the issue. People can get off on 50% pure spice, they just need more of it. I STILL think the issue is the method of smoking. Is your friend ready to give up without trying a method that has worked for many people for this exact issue first?

Has this friend tried the leaf bed method? Try smoking it out of a bong or regular MJ pipe using the leaf bed method. Stop trying to vaporize it...I'm telling you that your friend may think he's got it down, but for some reason using a lightbulb, oil pipe, meth pipe, and the like prevents some people from getting effects, don't ask why I just don't know. Before going through the trouble of making a machine try a quick and easy method of smoking!

Put a small bed of parsley or other non-harsh leaf down in a MJ bowl, add spice, add a tad more leaf on top, just enough to cover the spice completely. Smoke all in 1-3 hits. A water bong will help get it all in 1 hit. If your friend can get it all down in 1 hit and hold it for a good 10-20 seconds I would be shocked, just shocked if he/she didn't blast off. Seriously, TRY THIS....if he's tried all the other methods you mentioned why won't he try using the leaf bed method????

Try 80mgs, 100mgs, and finally if your friend still is not getting any effets 150mgs.

As another person posted, taking some rue or pure harmala alkaloids 10-20minutes prior to smoking will certianly increase the chance of a breakthrough.

If that doesn't work then yes, maybe your friend is in fact part of the 10%...but I seriously doubt it. Your friend would be the very first person that I have actually heard about that is unable to get off on spice.

Not trying to sound like an ass....but I was posting the same issues a year or two ago...

Also, this may have already been asked, but is your friend on any type of medication, or taking herbals daily?

He'll do the MJ method. He'd heard that this was incredibly wasteful, more so than the other methods and so hadn't considered it.

Thanks Acolon, and the other guys for taking the time to answer. I know you've answered these things a million times, and here's something else you need to hear; what you're doing here is brilliant. You provide a good safe environment for people to get to know about this substance. Even if this doesn't work out, just in the process of getting to know about it and going through the process of getting it has taught my friend a lot about drugs and his relationship to them.

So you hit it exactly like a normal pipe, with the flame on the top leaf?

right if your getting slight effects then your sure the magic is in there right...sorry your just not smoking it right. my buddy tried every method in the book and the only thing that worked for him is dmt infused herb. use mullein its the best leaf. i guarantee you you will get lifted.

also man are you taking any medications...i believe ssri's keep people from getting off on certain things. had a friend on some medication that could not get off on shrooms.

BTW it does not matter if one takes DMT freebase or a DMT salt orally. It is the freebase (unionized form) that is absorbed by the small intestine. Thus no matter what one takes it will end up as the freebase and the form it takes from their will depend on the specific environment of the various body and cellular compartments it is in.

THe method of ingestion (regarding smoking) really does make a huge difference. If freebasing use a blue flame torch lighter but do not hold it directly on the spice but slowly pass it over the spot until it begins to boil and vapors form. Continue heating in this fashion as required. A freebase pipe should work well with the torch lighter.

******* Not only what you use to smoke but how you smoke makes a huge difference. Take a large inhalation, breath in deep and hold it in for 15 -20 seconds at least. Take three or four of these and you will almost def get to where you want to be... Good luck.

try ayahuasca with a big fat bowl of spice waiting for you when you hit the peak..and if that doesnt work..take some acid..wait for the peak and then smoke as much dmt as you can with acolons leaf-spice-leaf method...it will work..

The leaf bed method is not really not wasteful at all. Considereing how much spice is actually burned up using vaporization (unless heated very gently) I think that the leaf bed is actually more efficient. I personally think that smoking 100mgs of spice without any effects wasteful...that's why I switched to the leaf bed method for 70% or so of my launches. I use blue lotus, mj, or damania leaf, but parsley works well too.

Good luck! I think you'll be quite suprised when you finally break through!

A friend of mine who extracted a bunch of DMT while doing scientific research on Antarctica told me about his experiences:

He ALWAYS used the leaf bed method (with basil) and turned on over 100 of his colleagues with this method as well. All of them reported good effects and the highest breakthrough dose for them was 50 mg, with threshold results being achieved for most between 10 and 20 mg. For 2/3 of his colleages 30-35 mg was a high dose. He tried the freebase method once without results. According to his experiences, the only reason breakthrough doses are considered to be 50+ mg is that a lot of people aren't smoking it right. He suggested if I was ever in a country where it was legal to smoke DMT that I put down a layer of basil in the pipe, sprinkle some spice, cover with another layer of basil and then another layer of spice, then one more layer of basil to top it off. Then move the flame around the top of the pipe until the top layer of basil catches fire. Inhale as much as possible, (with the top layer of basil lit, and no longer applying the flame) taking care not to cough, and hold it in for 15-20 seconds. Afterwards, pull at one's own discretion.

I have not yet been to a country where smoking this compound that exists in most life is not a criminal act, but have taken his advice to heart.

smoking affects SWIM very strong but each time atleast 100mg is used, many times well over.

but SWIM has not successfully tripped any other way without an maoi

have you tried a test tube vaporizer? Get a big cloud going and inhale... hold for 15-20 seconds and repeat. Works best with super clean DMT or it will be faily harsh on the lungs.

I still get the most reliable results from putting a wad of (torch cleaned) Brillo (thick copper wire mesh) in the bowl of a bubbler (Just got a new one, in fact)!!
Ala Machine, without the broken bottle.

Yes, the bong/machine method works very well... I'm using a dense dot of fine copper wire instead of Brillo. It blackens but doesn't burn.

Bubbling through a bit of water is great, everyone is saying DMT likes water so why not give it a little bath before entering the lungs! Not too much, though.
It even seems like the DMT doesn't recrystallize on the walls, maybe because of the moisture?
