I've been taking klonopin for 3 years now and using dmt with it, i just got prescribed paxil along with the klonopin and i was wondering if this will have any affect on my journeys,? I know that since it is an SSRI i cannot roll on MDMA but i dont know if this will affect psychedelic experiences as well. If there is already a thread around here about this topic please direct me towards it, i cannot find one.
 
the wiki just lists a few drugs that interact with dmt, i was wondering if SSRI's had any effect..

SSRI's can attenuate the effects of any serotonergic psychedelic (LSD, Shrooms, etc). But i've also heard multiple reports of diminshed effects. I'm unsure any controlled studies have been done directly on DMT and SSRI's, but i'd advise strong caution or rather avoidance.

I'm not sure if you've just been prescribed anti-anxiety and anti-depressant medications that mixing in enthneogens is wise. Maybe you should work on trying to get to better places, get things straightened out a bit in your life and hold off for a safer physical and better mental experience?

If you do decide to partake while on these other drugs, please be sure you have someone who can drive you to a hospital just in-case something happens. And that he understands you're health is more important then the trouble that could come from being at the hospital.
