Greetings and Salutations to everyone at The Nexus. This is my very first post here (or any forum for that matter) after being a unreg'd lurker here for well over a year  . Now I'm really here. Through the many months purusing this forum, I have read and seen everything from astonishing trip experiences to brilliant extraction teks to heated arguments to divine philosophical meanderings. During that time there have been quite a few members in particular which swim has grown a fondness for. He always looks forward to reading their posts. This forum has been more supportive in my spiritual journey than anyone locally in person has ever been. I hope to be equally helpful in the coming months and years. It is truly refreshing to discover such an open-minded, supportive, and intelligent group of personalities anywhere.

I have been on The Path for many long arduous years. Psychedelics have changed swim for the better, in countless ways. To all those people out there who think psychedelics are bad, I say a big Fuck You. Swim would be nowhere as advanced of an incarnation if it were not for the sheer divine goodness of psychedelics, and of DMT and LSD in particular. Swim knew from an early age that the world of psychedelics was his calling. It is my intention to learn as much as possible about these substances. These substances have benefited society immensely. To say otherwise is extremely narrow-minded, ignorant and deluded. A favourite quote from Bill Hicks is in order here: "If you don't think psychedelics have done anything good for society, then take all your music cds, records, and tapes of all your favourite artists, and burn them, because all these people... verry high on drugs."

Lately, swim has been having good success with 69Ron's Non-toxic Mescal Tek. It was because of swiy's posting this that he had his first mescaline experience. He has been developing somewhat of a love affair with mescal recently. Swims first mescal extraction yielded about 800mg purified mescal acetate from 100g of San Pedro powder, purchased from a well known vendor from California. Swim is on the mescal as he types this. Kudos to you 69Ron, your posts are always great reading, and very well put together. I have much gratitude for your wisdom, knowledge, and experience. The Nexus would not be the same without you. Also would like to give a big thanks to the following members: antrocles, fractal enchantment, Pandora, soulfood, Phlux, Aegle, acolon_5, and a few others whose names elude me at the moment. You are all wonderful and I love reading your posts. Hats off to you for making the DMT-Nexus the unique, cutting-edge forum that it is.

Btw, Swim started smoking spice before first visiting the Nexus as a guest, one of the most memorable experiences arrived when swim had a breakthrough on 15mg  (yeah, he's one of the sensitive ones). I'll fill in the details later. He has learned that smoking technique IS everything. More breakthroughs to come.

In the mean time, when swim logs on to The Nexus, It feels like home. I like it here.

Welcome Jumper, it's great to have you :d Lurking is fun, but contributing to the cache of knowledge is something much more meaningful.

Great intro, can't wait to hear more about yourself and your breakthroughs...

Hi SnozzleBerry, keep in mind that sometimes individuals get stuck in life circumstances which prevent them from engaging in something they would want to be a part of. That was my dilemma. I don't see anything wrong with lurking as long as ones intentions are be a part of the forum down the road. Anyways, thanks to you and gibran2 for the welcome.

Cactus is something fairly new to SWIM. Oddly enough, mescal was one of the few psych's he didn't experience until recently. He has had some very euphoric and revealing experiences on mescal lately. The cacti magic has indeed touched him. His first dose was 200mg. One of the things he noticed about it is that perception of time changes. Time seemed to pass quickly, but the trip lasted seven hours. Pure bliss...

Oh, I was by no means attacking lurking, there are many reasons why people do, and I have no qualms with those whatever (I'm a regular lurker over at shroomery). I was just saying that to share and increase knowledge by asking questions and helping others, as well as just being a part of this community, can be a much more fulfilling and personally beneficial experience than just skimming the information that is generated...it's good to give back, it promotes growth.

Appreciate the warm welcome everyone. Wake and Bacons sig says it quite succinctly. Even though SWIM is having great experiences on mescal, his absolute favourite psychedelic is and will always be DMT. Over the past year he has become increasingly intimate with the spirit molecule. His spice journeys are not always peaches 'n' cream, but those difficult ones are few and far between. However, they are just as valuable as the good ones. The way I see it, the bad comes with the good ones. Consider it like the price of admission, so to speak. Last time SWIM used spice was in mid February, which was a nice trip. He took a month off to work with cacti. Now he's about ready to jump back into hyperspace again. He uses spice on a semi-regular basis so that when time passes and he goes back, he can compare how things have changed since the last journey. The impact of spice lasts long after the trip is over. Taking time off for integration is essential. Swim just acquired 1 kilo of MHRB, so he's going to be doing alot of traveling soon.
