This molecule, this thing, whatever the hell this is...seems like it's an intruder on this planet.

This molecule has some serious "alien" properties to it. I mean, everything about it seems so alien, so hyperdimensional, so mechanic, so technological, so digital, so futuristic, so sci-fi, cyberpunk... yet organic and natural at the same time....it is truly something unique in the way how it presents itself to you. It is really hard to describe.

The way entities behave is like they're billions of years more advanced than you, they posses more knowledge than you can imagine, and what is interesting is that they are very glad to share that with you, but it is so difficult for them, and they do it in any way they can.

Or is it that experience is so intense, and too much for out brains to handle that they can't interpret it in any other way than such?

Every experience I had so far made me draw such conclusion. The one where I ended up in that data room was most intense one. To this day, I still don't know what to make of that. I still get shivers every time I remember that.

I have barely started, many experiences are waiting for me, but...

A Few Possible Interpretations of the DMT Experience

Listed below are eight possible interpretations of the DMT experience which imply answers (true or false) to some or all of the questions raised above. Some of these, like the experience itself, are bizarre, but at this stage, any idea should be considered since in this matter the truth (to paraphrase J.B.S. Haldane) probably is not only stranger than we suppose, but stranger than we can suppose.

1) There are no entities at all; it's merely subjective hallucination. The DMT state may be interesting, even extremely interesting, but really, there are no independently-existing entities to be found. 3) DMT allows awareness of processes at a cellular or even atomic level. DMT smokers are tapping into the network of cells in the brain or even into communication among molecules themselves. It might even be an awareness of quantum mechanical processes at the atomic or subatomic level.

4) DMT is, perhaps, a neurotransmitter in reptilian brains and in the older, reptilian parts of mammalian brains. Flooding the human brain with DMT causes the older reptilian parts of the brain to dominate consciousness, resulting in a state of awareness which appears totally alien (and sometimes very frightening) to the everyday monkey mind.

5) A non-human intelligent species created humans by genetic modification of existing primate stock and then retreated, leaving behind biochemical methods for contacting them. The psychedelic tryptamines are chemical keys that activate certain programs in the human brain that were placed there intentionally by this alien species.

6) The realm to which DMT provides access is the world of the dead. The entities experienced are souls or personalities of the departed, which retain some kind of life and ability to communicate. The realm of dead souls, commonly accepted by cultures and societies that do not ascribe to a materialist worldview, is now accessible using DMT.

7) The entities experienced are beings from another time that have succeeded in mastering the art of time travel, not in a way which allows materialization, but in a way which allows them to communicate with conscious beings such as ourselves.

8 ) The entities are probes from an extraterrestrial or an extra dimensional species, sent out to make contact with organisms such as ourselves who are able to manipulate their nervous systems in a way which allows communication to take place.

My best guess so far is that we are all just different aspects of the same singular consciousness experiencing itself as the universe from a multitude of different perspectives.

When you take DMT and break through, your consciousness merges with that universal consciousness and for a brief time you have access to all experiences that have ever been experienced by any conscious entity. The universal consciousness has created this reality, the physical universe, as a means of generating new experiences and as a way of experiencing individuality and 'separateness'.

The implication is that when you die, the fragment of that universal consciousness that was you is returned to that place and all of your experiences are integrated into hyperspace. Upon conception we're violently separated from that universal consciousness and the remainder of life is a process of reawakening to the true nature of the universe. The meaning of life is to have meaningful experiences and to spread love to all things, they are just another aspect of the same universal consciousness expressing itself in this reality.

Entities are not much different than you or I, they are just consciousnesses without physical form, and they too are another aspect of the universal consciousness.

This is just my best guess so far after about 300 trips, it's the only one that fits all of the data and is one of the most profound ideas. Even Carl Sagan says: "…we are a way for the universe to know itself." (Cosmos, episode 01).

That's exactly what I think arcologist but something makes me believe its even possible that there's something even beyond oneness. I've reached the same conclusion after all my experiences, but there has been moments in trips which just went deeper than I could ever try to understand, every time I think I've got a pretty good understanding of what's going on, I'm shown that it goes way deeper.

i found my first few experiences a little alien but for most of my relationship with it now i've actually found dmt experiences very homely and loving (though still get nervous before every blast off).. theres a sense of familiarity in all the intensity.. it feels interwoven with reality rather than alien to it in my experience. i guess the alien-ness i feel with it would be the untranslatable "language" of the experience as well as the specific visual content .. both which seem to defy something comprehensible to the human condition..

the trip seems to change a lot though as life progresses and it has sort of moved on from entities and onto focusing on important things that need dealing with in my life..often using various things I recognize and hold close as a sort of face to the teaching

All humans have to compare the dmt experiance to is our memory of a model of a physical world planet earth...
Maybe thats why we often seem so amazed...or astonished...with the DMT experiance..

But we are not suposed to alow ourselves to experiance astonishment..are we?

Experiance the same model of physical reality we know during the daytime to the same model during a high quality lucid dream while in high REM sleep at 3:AM and everything in that dream is soooo awesome as we fly efortlesly or walk.. in full dream bodys ..across dream carpets in strange compleatly furnished dream rooms with tvs running that we cant turn off.. exlporing and touching flesh colored walls with our dream hands..then opening the door as we walk outside into a giant dream city only to wander its streets to get lost then asking many dream carectors for help to find our way back ..and their response often is that of a movie stage prop...with a bunch of hard to understand mutterings that sound similar to real words...

I find after the stage prop people of my dreams let me down long enough.. there is always one DC that appears that will help me find my way back...

DMT is similar to dreaming with good lucid awareness of whats hapening... but the control is weak compared to a strong lucid dream..or out of body experiance..

I have yet to experiance a jump into an out of body experiance using DMT because of my habit of doing small to medium doses ...but it may alow for good control in that case...using DMT as a bridge..

But the control one experiances in a lucid dream allows one to levitate and fly at will as i have entered giant dream buildings and knowing ..[i was in a dream]..willed myself to punch through glass windows that stretched like rubber and walk through brick walls

DMT benifits compared to lucid dreaming are you dont have to go to sleep ..you can enter hyperspace while awake...but i think that the loss of controll in a dmt trip is because your brain activity is normaly like a raging sea durring the daytime and adding dmt just puts a heavyer load on it..

Compared to dreaming after fully relaxed and sleeping for hours your raging sea brain activity... ..[slows way down!]... alowing for [dream control] during the lucid dream...

My belief is a combination of the following three.

That is very true. It is quite difficult to describe eloquently. The DMT world is such a mysterious place, always changing and flowing. Every journey I've had shows me a new part of the DMT dimension as well as giving me insight to who I am and to what purpose I serve. It is a great teacher, full of wonder and always awe inspiring.

These theories sure are interesting! Maybe they are all true in one way or another.
