Hey everyone,

I have yet to introduce myself to the community! You can call me qualia.

Qualia is a term used in philosophy to describe the subjective quality of conscious experience.

Philosophically speaking, qualia is:

1. ineffable; that is, they cannot be communicated, or apprehended by any other means than direct experience.
2. intrinsic; that is, they do not change depending on the experience's relation to other things.
3. private; that is, all interpersonal comparisons of qualia are systematically impossible.
4. directly or immediately apprehensible in consciousness; that is, to experience a quale is to know one experiences a quale, and to know all there is to know about that quale.

A beautiful and comforting way to look at life, dont you think?

I have not delved into DMT hyperspace yet, however, I have some significant experience with many other fascinating and beautiful entheogens. So far my contributions to the site have stayed within the nursery...but I often want to give my advice or response to threads outside of my playpen! Ah! I have so much more to contribute...If only my training wheels were removed.

I've had a few interesting conversations and have already received fantastic and pragmatic advice from this community.

Thank you, and I hope to share my experience and opinions more wholly in the near future! =)

From all of us here, welcome! And for me personally, I LOVE learning new word. Qualia is certainly one to be remembered!
 
agreed :) I had never heard of qualia before.

btw... I looked into buying my ticket the other day, as soon as the new batch go on sale I'm getting a few for me and some friends.

i was thinking the other day, would it not be kinda cool to find out who on this forum is going to shambhala and setup a meeting time/place to do a bit of a synchronized hyperspace launch of our own? just a thought...
