I've made a changa and it's turned out sticky..?

Migrated topic.

When I've made it before it always dries nicely to a fluffy dry smoking blend.
This time it's sticky.

The only difference is that this is a 10x Caapi blend that I made myself.

I soaked 20grams of ground Caapi leaf in IPA for well over a month. I then drained the alcohol off, it was a deep green colour but had lots of bits in it so I filtered it through a coffee filter paper so it was clear (but still dark green.)

I then warmed it to about 40degrees celsius and disolved two grams of spice into it (a lightly yellow/ orange crystal that I have extracted from MHRB using and STB extraction.)

I then poured this solution on top of 2grams of mixed and shredded Caapi, Mullien and Mint leaves in small shallow jars.

I then put the jars in my food dehydrator set at 40degrees celsius with the fan on until it has all dried off (stirring every few hours.)

However, the remaining herb is sticky and there is a dark green sticky layer on the bottom of the glass.

It's a bit of a pain to store/ measure and use but apart from that do you think it will be alright?
My only concen is that most of the DMT is in the bottom of the glass in the sticky green layer?

Has anyone ever had this experience?
Many thanks.

Sticky is good, it means it's potent and full of alks. If you dont want it to be sticky you can redissolve onto 1.5 as much herbs by weight.

Awesome.
I've bunged it back into the dehydrator and it has dried out a bit more anyway, a nice happy balance.
Has anyone else got anything to add?
Thanks again.

I made some enhanced leaf from acetate goo and it turned out fairly sticky. Purify your caapi extract a bit.

To reabsorb some of that caapi extract you can add a touch of IPA/Ethanol, just enough to dissolve the green layer. Stir the herbs around in it, and it will stick to them instead. Stir a few more times while doing a fan evaporation. Most of the residue will adhere to the smoking blend.

Sticky can be a concentration of waxier alkaloids/plant oils which would be fine, but it might also be some remaining solvent/water that isnt evaporated yet.. Insisting on the food dehydrator/fan/whatever for some more time is a good idea.
